How to take the quiz
Cover the answers as you go, or have one person read the questions aloud. Give yourself one point for each correct answer. The quiz is grouped by difficulty, but the tiers are informal: a book or film detail can be easy for one fan and a deep cut for another.

Scoring your result
- 0–25: You have the essentials and plenty of room for a reread or rewatch.
- 26–50: You know the main characters, school life and major plot turns.
- 51–75: You have a strong command of the series’ details.
- 76–100: Your memory is formidable; review the few continuity-specific details you missed.
- 101–120: You are a serious Potter enthusiast—and caught the questions that needed more precise wording.
Some questions above deliberately expose how a quiz can become unfair when it asks for a single answer to an underspecified question. The invalid or ambiguous prompts are identified in their answer lines rather than counted as dependable trivia.
