The report described Bailey as having physical custody except on Wednesdays and certain weekends. Those were terms of a temporary stipulation—not confirmation of the custody schedule in force today. No later case-specific order was verified as of October 8, 2026.
How the custody dispute developed
- October 2024: Bailey and DDG announced their separation. The Los Angeles Times reported that they had dated from 2022 to 2024.
- May 2025: Bailey obtained a temporary restraining order and sought protection for herself and Halo. The Associated Press and the Los Angeles Times reported on the order and her court declaration. The allegations in her filing were claims, not findings that abuse had been proved.
- May 2025: Reports said Bailey was granted temporary sole physical and legal custody while the initial order was in effect. These were temporary proceedings, not a reported final custody determination. Los Angeles Times
- June 2025: DDG sought a restraining order of his own and made counter-allegations. The Los Angeles Times reported that his request to prevent Bailey from taking Halo to Italy was denied at that stage. Los Angeles Times; Complex
- August 2025: Complex reported that the court directed both parents not to post or have others post images or information about Halo, allowed peaceful contact for court-ordered visitation, and continued temporary orders until a hearing then scheduled for October. Complex

What the October 2025 stipulation reportedly said
According to the Los Angeles Times’ account of a stipulation filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Bailey had physical custody except on Wednesdays and certain weekends. The agreement also addressed birthdays and upcoming holidays. It required both parents to dismiss their pending restraining-order requests, while leaving them able to seek new orders if future abuse occurred. Los Angeles Times
The report also described restrictions on sharing photographs, images, or information about Halo online or on social platforms, including through friends and family. It said the stipulation barred either parent from publicly disparaging the other or doing so in the child’s presence. These are terms reported for the 2025 stipulation; the available reporting does not establish whether they remain in force. Los Angeles Times
What was alleged—and what the reports establish
Bailey’s claims were made in a court filing, not stated as a judicial finding. The AP reported that her request said: “Throughout our relationship,” Bailey said in documents requesting the order, “Daryl has been and continues to be physically, verbally, emotionally, and financially abusive towards me. I am seeking orders to protect myself and our son Halo from his ongoing abuse.” Associated Press

The Los Angeles Times reported that DDG also sought a restraining order and made allegations about Bailey, including concerns he characterized as emotional instability and alleged endangerment. Those claims, like Bailey’s, should be understood as allegations rather than established facts. Temporary custody terms can be distinct from a final order, and the reports cited here do not establish a final judicial finding on either parent’s allegations.
