For a simple always-on YouTube channel, StreamNeo is another option: it runs uploaded videos from the cloud, at any quality up to 4K 60fps for one flat price per slot, with the first day free.
How the services differ
Both services describe a workflow in which you provide prerecorded video and their servers send it as a live stream. The claims below are from the services themselves, not an independent reliability or performance test.
| Need | Gyre | LiveReacting |
|---|---|---|
| Single video or playlist | Describes uploading videos to Gyre Storage, building a playlist and looping it continuously. Playlist availability depends on plan; a LiveReacting-authored comparison says playlists start with Gyre Start+. | Describes looping one video or playing a playlist in order or shuffle. |
| Scheduling and changes during a stream | Describes scheduled playlists and playlist reuse. | Describes scheduled reruns and changing the video, playlist order, music, scenes or overlays while a stream is on air. |
| Stream or destination capacity | Its homepage advertises up to eight simultaneous streams per subscription and YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Instagram, Kick and RTMP destinations. | Its homepage describes up to 20 simultaneous platforms depending on plan and names YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, Kick, Instagram and other destinations. |
| Stream duration | Not stated in the cited homepage description. | Its FAQ says the dedicated 24/7 plan has no service-set stream-length limit; other plans have maximum lengths. Platform limits may still apply. |
| Computer required to stay on | No, for the cloud-streaming workflow described by Gyre. | No, for the server-based workflow described by LiveReacting. |
Feature availability varies by plan. Confirm current plan limits and destination support on each service’s Gyre and LiveReacting pages before choosing.
Which service fits your channel?
Choose Gyre if playlist looping is central
Gyre’s documented flow is to upload videos to its storage, create a playlist, connect a YouTube account, then start a scheduled or continuous stream. It says playlists restart automatically. The important buying question is tier: a LiveReacting-authored comparison says Gyre’s $49/month plan lacks playlists, while playlist support begins at Start+.

Check YouTube eligibility and content rules
Before starting a live stream
YouTube says a channel must be verified and have no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. The streaming service does not replace these channel requirements. See YouTube’s Get started with live streaming guidance.
Looping does not guarantee monetization
YouTube’s monetization policy applies to live streams as video content. Its July 15, 2025 update renamed “repetitious content” to “inauthentic content” to clarify coverage of repetitive or mass-produced material. Monetized content should be original, not generic or repetitive, and should offer materially varied creative, educational or other value. A looped feed or automation tool does not itself establish monetization eligibility, audience growth, watch time or revenue. Review the YouTube channel monetization policies, and make sure you have rights to the video, music and other material you stream.
