Gwen Stefani called Felsmere “a full package” during a three-way knockout on The Voice, but chose Gabrielle Zabrosky to advance. After making the difficult call, Stefani said, “That was hard.” The matchup aired during Season 26’s Knockouts on November 12, 2024.
Who advanced in the three-way knockout?
Stefani selected Gabrielle Zabrosky as the winner of the knockout, advancing her in the competition. The other singers in the matchup were Felsmere and Kay Sibal. The result was a round-specific decision; it does not by itself establish that either of the other singers was eliminated from the entire competition.
What did the three singers perform?
| Contestant | Song | Artist |
|---|---|---|
| Felsmere | “Son of a Preacher Man” | Dusty Springfield |
| Gabrielle Zabrosky | “Used to Be Young” | Miley Cyrus |
| Kay Sibal | “One Last Time” | Ariana Grande |
Why did Stefani call Felsmere “a full package”?
In the episode transcript, Stefani praised Felsmere’s performance and said, “Felsmere, you are a full package.” She said she wanted to bring out the song’s quirkiness and irony as well as its power, and called it Felsmere’s best performance to that point: “I really have to tell you, I feel like this was your best time doing it, right here in front of the whole of America.”
Stefani also praised Zabrosky and Sibal for their vulnerability. Explaining her choice afterward, she pointed to Zabrosky’s quirky personality, humility, and potential to grow. The comments suggest the decision involved more than a single performance quality; they do not amount to an objective ranking or score of the three singers.
