Bill Murray as Phil Connors
Murray continued a long film career after Groundhog Day. A February 2, 2026, Parade cast roundup also notes his appearance on Saturday Night Live’s 50th-anniversary special in 2025. That is a dated career snapshot, not a claim about his newest project.

Andie MacDowell as Rita
MacDowell continued acting after the film, with later credits including Four Weddings and a Funeral and Netflix’s Maid. Parade also notes her longstanding association with L’Oréal.
Chris Elliott as Larry
Elliott went on to further television work. One of his prominent later roles was Roland Schitt in Schitt’s Creek, according to Parade’s 2026 roundup.

Stephen Tobolowsky as Ned Ryerson
Tobolowsky continued a prolific acting career and has also written books and hosted podcasts. Parade reports more than 200 film appearances; that figure is the publication’s career claim, rather than an independently audited credit count.
Brian Doyle-Murray as Buster Green
Doyle-Murray remained active in screen and voice work. Parade highlights his long-running voice role as the Flying Dutchman in SpongeBob SquarePants, as well as later recurring and guest television roles.

Marita Geraghty as Nancy Taylor
Parade reports The Ex List (2009) as Geraghty’s last credited acting role and says little is publicly known about her life now. The available reporting does not establish why she stopped appearing in credited roles, so there is no basis to infer a reason or speculate about her private life.
Angela Paton as Mrs. Lancaster
Paton died on May 26, 2016, aged 86, according to Parade’s roundup. A where-are-they-now update should distinguish her passing from the continuing careers of living cast members.

Navy Pier announced a 2024 Harold Ramis memorial reunion with Brian Doyle-Murray, Stephen Tobolowsky, Marita Geraghty, Robin Duke, David Pasquesi, Peggy Roeder, and Richard Henzel scheduled as guests. The announcement said Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell’s participation was pending.
