PerthNow identified Gracie Piscopo’s mystery New Zealand man as Daniel Classen in May 2023. At the time, Piscopo’s spokesperson denied that they were in a relationship. PerthNow later reported that the pair went public with a kissing photo on Christmas Day 2023; 7NEWS referred to Classen as Piscopo’s boyfriend in April 2025. Those reports do not establish whether they are together now.
Who was Gracie Piscopo’s mystery New Zealand man?
PerthNow named him as Daniel Classen in a report published on May 26, 2023. The outlet described Classen as 27 and from New Zealand, and said Piscopo had been seen meeting him on low-key dates. Those details reflect the 2023 report, not current biographical information. PerthNow’s May 2023 report quoted Classen saying he was impressed by Piscopo’s maternal instinct.
Were Piscopo and Classen dating when he was identified?
Not according to Piscopo’s spokesperson at that point: PerthNow reported that the spokesperson denied the pair were in a relationship when asked. That distinction matters because being seen together and being described as dating were not confirmation of a relationship. The report also quoted Classen speaking about supporting Miss Universe WA contestants: “I think it’s very important, to lift them up and make them feel like they belong here and just make them feel like they’re worth what they believe they are worth.” That comment concerned the contestants, not his relationship with Piscopo.
When did they confirm their relationship publicly?
PerthNow reported that Piscopo and Classen confirmed their relationship with a photo of them kissing beneath a Christmas tree on Christmas Day 2023. In its December 26 report, the outlet said the post had received nearly 55,000 likes at the time; that was a contemporaneous figure reported by PerthNow, not a current or independently verified count. What happened between the first report and the public confirmation?
In September 2023, PerthNow reported that Piscopo had told guests at a Fashion Thrift Society event that she was single. The next day, it noted that similar Instagram posts by Piscopo and Classen prompted questions about whether they were spending time together, but did not establish their status. Taken together, the reports show why the May sightings and social-media speculation should not be treated as confirmation.

Are Gracie Piscopo and Daniel Classen still together?
The latest relationship-style coverage identified in the sources here is a 7NEWS report published April 2, 2025, which referred to Classen as Piscopo’s boyfriend while covering her Bali trip and a loved-up photo. That supports describing them as a couple in that report; it does not confirm their status in October 2026. Read 7NEWS’s April 2025 report.
