Gracie Piscopo shared a Christmas Day 2023 Instagram photo of herself kissing Daniel Classen beneath a Christmas tree, with the caption, “Guess this makes it official!” PerthNow reported on the post the next morning. It followed months of mixed public signals; later coverage described them as a couple, but the available reporting does not establish their relationship status today.
What Piscopo posted on Christmas Day
In a report published on 26 December 2023, PerthNow’s Peta Rasdien said Piscopo had shared the photo on Christmas Day, 25 December. The image showed Piscopo and Classen kissing beneath a Christmas tree, and PerthNow reproduced the caption as: “Guess this makes it official!” PerthNow’s 26 December 2023 report
That public post is the basis for describing the moment as a “hard launch”: a clear, public presentation of a relationship, rather than an indirect hint. The wording came from Piscopo’s caption as quoted by PerthNow; the original Instagram post was not independently accessed for this account.
How the announcement followed earlier reports
PerthNow had reported on the relationship speculation months earlier, so the Christmas post came after a sequence of public signals rather than in isolation.

May 2023: speculation and a denial
On 26 May 2023, PerthNow identified Classen as the man reportedly seen meeting Piscopo. The same report said a spokesperson for Piscopo denied they were in a relationship at that time. That denial applies to the period reported in May, not to what Piscopo later posted. PerthNow’s 26 May 2023 report
August and September 2023: appearances and a reported “single” comment
PerthNow’s later reports described Classen posting a birthday photo with Piscopo and reported that Piscopo told attendees at a Fashion Thrift Society event that she was “single.” Those accounts document what was reported at the time; they do not resolve the meaning of the Christmas post or establish the couple’s current status.
