Her statement did not name a diagnosis. The Leeds venue called that date postponed and advised ticket holders to keep their tickets while a new date was pending.
Why were the Nottingham and Leeds shows postponed?
In a note to fans shared on Instagram Stories, Abrams wrote: “Unfortunately, I am really still struggling with this illness and have been advised that I cannot perform these next two nights.” ABC Audio reproduced the statement in a report carried by B98.5 FM. She did not identify the illness, so no specific diagnosis is established.

She also apologized to fans and said her team would contact ticket holders once it had “concrete details.” Abrams added that the tour was something she had dreamed of since the album came out and that the shows played so far had meant a great deal to her.
Were the shows canceled or postponed?
Abrams said she could not perform on those nights. The distinction in the available notices is that First Direct Arena described the Leeds date as postponed, not definitively canceled, and told ticket holders to retain their tickets while a new date was to be announced. The venue directed order questions to the original point of purchase. A contemporaneous report also described the Nottingham Motorpoint Arena date as postponed.

How did this affect the tour schedule?
The Nottingham and Leeds postponements followed a February 28 cancellation in Brussels that contemporaneous coverage also attributed to illness. On March 3, that coverage reported London’s O2 show on March 6 as Abrams’s next scheduled performance, with Manchester, Cardiff, Dublin and Glasgow dates then expected to proceed. That was a schedule snapshot from March 3, 2025—not confirmation of what ultimately happened at those later shows.
The O2 listing identified the tour as supporting Abrams’s sophomore album, The Secret of Us, and marks the March 6, 2025 event as passed. See the official O2 event listing.
