Good Charlotte’s Motel Du Cap World Tour was announced to open at Perth’s RAC Arena on Tuesday, 17 February 2026. That date has passed. The Australian dates were the first announced shows on the tour, and the run celebrated the band’s eighth studio album, Motel Du Cap.
Perth was announced as the tour launch
Untitled Group named RAC Arena in Perth / Boorloo as the site of the tour’s opening show. PerthNow also described the city as the launch when it reported the announcement on 13 October 2025. The Australian shows were the first dates announced for the Motel Du Cap World Tour.
Joel Madden said Australia held a special place for the band: “Australia is such a special place to Good Charlotte and to me personally, it feels like a home away from home in many ways, and we can’t wait to head back there for some big shows. It’s been far too long since we’ve spent time with our Aussie fans, we’re all in for a big treat,” Untitled Group attributes the statement to Madden.
