The film is directed by Tyree Dillihay and co-directed by Adam Rosette. Is GOAT worth watching?
A Collider review reproduced by Headtopics gave the film 7/10. The reviewer’s case for it is its colorful, stylized animation, humor, appealing characters and a distinctive sports setting. Roarball gets more than a generic game backdrop: the review points to co-ed teams and varied arena environments as parts of the film’s world-building.
