Gianluca Vacchi y Sharon Fonseca anunciaron el 7 de julio de 2024 la muerte de Gordo, su perro Labrador retriever. En sus despedidas, lo recordaron como parte central de la familia: Vacchi lo llamó su primer hijo y Fonseca habló de los años compartidos con su compañero de vida.
Qué se sabe sobre la muerte de Gordo
La pareja dio a conocer la noticia en redes sociales el domingo 7 de julio de 2024, según las coberturas de Univision y People en Español. Vacchi contó que Gordo había muerto la semana anterior, durante la noche entre lunes y martes.
Los reportes no establecen de forma uniforme una fecha exacta. Aunque algunas coberturas sitúan la muerte el 2 de julio, el relato atribuido a Vacchi ofrece solo ese marco relativo; por eso, no puede presentarse aquí un día preciso como confirmado.
Los medios describieron a Gordo como un Labrador retriever. En la despedida reproducida por Univision, Vacchi escribió: “Gordo me enseñó el sentido profundo del amor incondicional, único y verdadero”.

Cómo llegó Gordo a la familia
Fonseca contó que recibió un mensaje sobre un perro que necesitaba un nuevo hogar y sintió que debía adoptarlo. People en Español sitúa su llegada en 2017; ese año debe entenderse como la cronología reportada por ese medio, ya que no todas las coberturas ofrecen la misma precisión.
Vacchi describió a Gordo como su primer hijo. La expresión refleja el vínculo afectivo que transmitió en su despedida, no un parentesco literal.

En julio de 2025, Vacchi compartió un recuerdo con motivo del primer aniversario de la muerte de Gordo. ¡HOLA! informó entonces que Blu, la hija de la pareja, todavía preguntaba por él.
