A judge later imposed a separate final sentence at a July 29 hearing: five years of probation, 200 hours of community service, a nine-month alcohol program, mental-health treatment, $8,260 in restitution and a one-year driving restriction. Pullos had served three months in custody and was released after the hearing.
Why did Haley Pullos surrender to jail?
Pullos surrendered on April 29, 2024, one year after the crash, to serve 90 days in Pasadena City Jail. The surrender followed her no-contest plea to a felony DUI charge. The April surrender was not the July sentencing hearing: the later hearing set the remaining terms of her criminal sentence.
Entertainment Tonight reported the surrender and plea on April 30, 2024.
What sentence did the court impose?
At the July 29, 2024 hearing, the court ordered Pullos to serve five years of probation, complete 200 hours of community service and attend a nine-month alcohol program. The sentence also required mental-health treatment, $8,260 in restitution and that she not drive for one year. She had served three months in custody and was released after the hearing, according to City News Service reporting syndicated by FOX 11.

Pullos’s attorney, Mark Daniel Melnick, told People, as relayed by ET, that she was “very grateful to the court for a minimum sentence” and for recognizing her remorse and strides in sobriety. That was her attorney’s characterization, not a finding by the court.
What happened in the 2023 crash?
The collision took place April 29, 2023, on the 134 Freeway near Orange Grove Boulevard in Pasadena. CHP also said an earlier hit-and-run occurred before Pullos entered the freeway.

City News Service reported that Judge Terry Smerling warned Pullos she would be “charged with murder” if she caused a DUI crash in which someone died. The wording is the news service’s account of the warning, not a court transcript.
Which charges were part of the plea?
Pullos initially faced two felony DUI counts and one misdemeanor hit-and-run count. Under the plea agreement, one DUI count and the hit-and-run count were dismissed. The dismissed counts did not result in separate convictions. The case outcome and charge disposition were reported by City News Service.
What happened to her role on General Hospital?
Pullos played Molly Lansing-Davis on General Hospital beginning in 2009. Entertainment Tonight reported that the role was later recast, with Kristen Vaganos continuing as Molly from September 27, 2023.
