Wann war die gamescom 2026?
Die gamescom 2026 fand vom Mittwoch, 26. August, bis Sonntag, 30. August, in Köln statt. Die Opening Night Live (ONL) wurde am Dienstag, 25. August, veranstaltet. Die offizielle gamescom-Seite und der Abschlussbericht vom 30. August 2026 nennen diese Termine.
Die nächste Ausgabe ist für den 23. bis 29. August 2027 angekündigt. Der Publikumsbetrieb soll am 26. August beginnen; Opening Night Live ist für den Abend des 24. August geplant. Das sind Termine für 2027, nicht eine Verlängerung oder Wiederholung des 2026-Programms.

Die 2026-Ausgabe ist abgeschlossen, daher können dafür keine Tickets mehr gekauft werden. Einen verifizierten endgültigen Preis für die 2026-Tickets weisen die hier verfügbaren offiziellen Informationen nicht aus. Preise für 2027 sollten erst anhand des dann aktiven offiziellen Ticketshops geprüft werden; 2026er Angaben lassen sich nicht auf die nächste Ausgabe übertragen.

Die damaligen Ausverkaufsmitteilungen sind Momentaufnahmen, keine aktuelle Kaufübersicht: Am 18. August 2026 meldete gamescom ausverkaufte Wildcards und Samstagstickets. Eine Mitteilung vom 26. August berichtete, dass auch Mittwoch und Donnerstag sowie Samstag ausverkauft waren. Die Meldungen finden sich in den offiziellen Ticketinformationen vom 18. August und der Mitteilung zu Opening Night Live vom 26. August.
Öffnungszeiten
Ein endgültiger Tagesplan mit bestätigten Publikumsöffnungszeiten für 2026 ist nicht belegt. Die aktuelle Besucherseite richtet sich vor allem auf 2027 aus und bezeichnet den verlinkten 2026-Zeitplan als vorläufig und änderbar. Deshalb lässt sich aus ihm keine verlässliche finale Öffnungszeit ableiten.

Geoff Keighley moderierte und produzierte die Show; Eefje „sjokz“ Depoortere war Co-Moderatorin. gamescom kündigte Premieren, neue Ankündigungen, Trailer und Gameplay-Enthüllungen an. Die offizielle ONL-Seite beschreibt die Veranstaltung; die Pressemitteilung zur Ausgabe 2026 nennt die Co-Moderatorin und das Programm.
Wer nicht vor Ort war, konnte Programmhighlights über die offiziellen YouTube- und Twitch-Kanäle von gamescom verfolgen. Diese Angabe belegt weder einen kostenpflichtigen Streamingdienst noch eine dauerhafte spätere Verfügbarkeit der Übertragung.

Laut dem Veranstalter kamen 368.000 Besucherinnen und Besucher aus 131 Ländern nach Köln; außerdem wurden mehr als 36.000 Fachbesucher gemeldet. Der Programmumfang erreichte nach Angaben von gamescom mehr als 624 Millionen Aufrufe, gezählt bis Samstagabend. Für Opening Night Live meldete der Veranstalter mehr als 78 Millionen Aufrufe.
Der Abschlussbericht nennt außerdem 1.743 ausstellende Unternehmen aus 66 Ländern und rund 233.000 Quadratmeter Brutto-Ausstellungsfläche. Diese Zahlen stammen aus dem Abschlussbericht von gamescom vom 30. August 2026; die Aufrufzahlen sind zeitgebundene Veranstalterangaben, keine einheitliche Messung gleichzeitiger Zuschauer.
