The 2026 Gabby’s Dollhouse Fairylandia Tour has ended. Presented by DreamWorks Animation and KidsGardening, it brought a character meet-and-greet and hands-on, Fairylandia-themed activities to 12 botanical gardens across the United States from April 11 through June 28, 2026. The official tour page now lists the stops as past events.
What was the Fairylandia Tour?
The tour connected the Fairylandia theme of Gabby’s Dollhouse with visits to botanical gardens. Families could meet the Gabby costume character, take part in themed crafts and explore the local garden. The event was a partnership between DreamWorks Animation and KidsGardening.
Parents reported examples of activities including a Kitten Fairy crown craft, a terrarium craft and an activity booklet with temporary tattoos, a watercolor sheet and a button. Those were examples, not a promise that every garden offered the same activities. The official tour page said offerings varied by location and capacity could be limited.

What families could expect at a stop
The core idea was a mix of character time, creative activities and garden exploration, but the local schedule and available activities depended on the participating venue. The official tour page directed families to each garden’s own website for location-specific event information. It did not establish a single ticket price, attendance figure or uniform set of admission requirements for the tour as a whole.
Families who want to continue the garden theme at home can try a simple planting or terrarium activity. A children’s terrarium kit or beginner gardening kit is an optional idea inspired by an activity Parents reported; it was not a tour requirement, and no particular product was identified as sold or endorsed by the event.

Why DreamWorks and KidsGardening partnered
DreamWorks Animation’s SVP of Marketing Ryan Bradley described the partnership as a way to bring the new season’s Fairylandia imagination and creativity to local communities. KidsGardening Executive Director Em Shipman emphasized how gardening and imaginative play can encourage young children’s confidence, curiosity and connection with nature.
Parents reported that KidsGardening reaches more than 2.7 million children each year and has operated since 1982. The report did not specify the year for the reach figure, and those numbers are reported by Parents rather than independently confirmed here. No tour-specific attendance or impact total was published in the cited event coverage.

Where to find event information now
Because the tour dates have passed, the official page is useful as a record of the schedule rather than a way to attend. For details about an individual garden’s past event, consult that venue’s own website or its archived event listings where available; local offerings varied, so there is no single tour-wide activity list that applies to every stop.
