G20 is a mixed-bag action thriller: Rotten Tomatoes’ audience score was 45% when checked in 2026. It may suit viewers drawn to Viola Davis leading an action film, but those looking for an unpredictable, tightly plotted thriller may want to skip it.
What does the audience score for G20 say?
Rotten Tomatoes showed a 45% Popcornmeter from 1,000+ audience ratings, with an average rating of 2.8 out of 5, when retrieved in 2026. The figure is a snapshot of ratings on that platform, not a representative survey of all viewers, and it can change.
That audience score is separate from the Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer. The Tomatometer was 56% from 75 critic reviews—42 Fresh and 33 Rotten—with a displayed average of 5.30 out of 10 at the same retrieval. Critics and audience members are different groups, and their scores measure different sets of reviews. Rotten Tomatoes’ G20 page displays both measures.
IMDb is another place to read viewer reactions; its page showed 368 user reviews at retrieval. That is a changing page count, not an overall rating or a stable measure of audience opinion. Read IMDb user reviews for G20.

What some viewers criticize
