Tabitha is connected to Miranda through a recurring past-life identity, while Jade is connected to Christopher in the same way. The finale ties both pairs to a cycle involving the town’s children; it does not mean the present-day characters are literally Miranda and Christopher under different names.

How are Tabitha and Jade connected to Miranda and Christopher?
| Present-day character | Earlier identity | What the connection means |
|---|---|---|
| Tabitha | Miranda | A recurring past-life connection. |
| Jade | Christopher | A matching recurring past-life connection. |
The season 3 finale frames the pairings as part of a cycle rather than as separate, unrelated hauntings or coincidences. Tabitha and Jade remain themselves in the present; the reveal links them to earlier lives, not to the earlier characters’ current identities. ComingSoon’s finale guide and TV Insider’s coverage describe the reveal.
What happens in the finale to trigger the reveal?
Jim, Tabitha, and Jade investigate the numbers associated with the bottle tree as musical notes. When Jade plays the melody, the children appear, and the scene prompts memories that connect Tabitha to Miranda and Jade to Christopher. The melody-and-children sequence is the immediate context for the memory reveal, as described in the episode recap; the scene’s plot details should be distinguished from broader interpretations of the show’s mythology.

What does the reveal establish—and what remains unresolved?
The finale establishes the paired connections and points to a recurring cycle involving the town’s children. It does not, on the evidence available in the episode recaps, set out every rule of that cycle or explain every past iteration. Treating the reveal as a complete account of how recurrence works—or as proof of what Tabitha and Jade will do next—would go beyond what the scene establishes.
The reveal occurs in “Revelations, Chapter Two,” listed as the season 3 finale, season 3, episode 10. Apple TV’s episode listing confirms the episode title and finale placement, but its brief synopsis does not independently spell out the full relationship reveal.
