“Cyrano, Cyrano” is Season 2, Episode 2 of the 2023 Frasier revival. Its Valentine’s Day story puts Frasier in the middle of a troubled relationship, while Patricia Heaton’s Holly shares the episode’s reunion spotlight with Kelsey Grammer. The episode’s title suggests a Cyrano-style romantic setup, but Paramount+ does not describe it as a direct adaptation of Edmond Rostand’s play.
What happens in “Cyrano, Cyrano”?
Paramount+ describes a Valentine’s Day plot in which Frasier sets out to “give Cupid a win” and inadvertently becomes involved with both sides of a troubled relationship. That premise places him in a mediator’s role and supplies the Cyrano-like romantic framing suggested by the title.

The official synopsis does not spell out the episode’s scene-by-scene mechanics, so it is safest to treat the Cyrano connection as a comic premise or allusion rather than claim the episode directly adapts Rostand’s play.
Why is it called a reunion?
Patricia Heaton plays Holly, and Slashfilm frames her appearance alongside Kelsey Grammer as a reunion. That is a reunion between performers with a prior professional connection—not a reunion of the original Frasier ensemble. The official Paramount+ episode listing names Kelsey Grammer, Jack Cutmore-Scott, Nicholas Lyndhurst, Toks Olagundoye, and Jess Salgueiro among the featured cast; it does not establish a broader original-cast reunion.
