Fortnite’s Juice WRLD tribute concert was a one-time in-game event held on November 30, 2024—not an event happening today. Epic Games called it “Remix: The Finale,” the closing event for Chapter 2 Remix, and scheduled it for 2 PM ET. It brought together Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Spice, and Juice WRLD, with an exclusive premiere of “Empty Out Your Pockets.”
When was the Fortnite Juice WRLD concert?
Epic announced that “Remix: The Finale” would take place in Fortnite on November 30, 2024, at 2 PM ET. The event marked the culmination of Chapter 2 Remix, which Epic said would run through 10 PM ET that day. The word “today” in some contemporary coverage referred to November 30, 2024; it does not describe a current event.
Epic framed the finale as a tribute to Juice WRLD and his connection to video games. His mother, Carmela Wallace, said: “Jarad always loved to play Fortnite – it was more than just entertainment for him, it was a way to connect with others. From a young age, video games were a part of how he bonded with friends and family, and being in Fortnite is an incredible tribute to that connection. I know he would be overjoyed to see how his love for games continues to bring people together across different spaces, just like his music does.”
Which artists and music were part of the event?
The official Fortnite announcement named Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Spice, and Juice WRLD among the artists featured in “Remix: The Finale.” It also planned an exclusive in-game world premiere of Juice WRLD’s “Empty Out Your Pockets.” The track was included as a bonus song on his posthumous album The Party Never Ends, announced by Universal Music Canada on November 29, 2024.
