Bethesda announced Fallout-themed cosmetics for the Battle Pass and Item Shop, including T-60 Power Armor and a reactive Pip-Boy back bling. The announcement documents what was included at launch; it does not confirm that any item is in the Shop now.
When did the Fallout crossover launch?
Bethesda said the collaboration began with Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3, Wrecked, on May 24, 2024. Its announcement followed on May 29, 2024. Bethesda introduced the news with the line, “Fallout-themed cosmetics are paragliding into Fortnite,” in an article by Associate Content Manager Gabriel Santiago. Read Bethesda’s May 29 announcement.
Which Fallout cosmetics did Bethesda announce?
Bethesda described the collaboration’s cosmetics as split between the Battle Pass and Item Shop. The announcement named these items:
- T-60 Power Armor Outfit: the armor outfit came with three variants.
- Animated Pip-Boy back bling: Bethesda said it reacts to in-game activities.
- Codsworth emote.
- Vault Boy emoticons and a power armor spray.
- Vault Boy back bling: Bethesda said players could watch for it in the Item Shop.
For the Battle Pass route, Bethesda said players earned Battle Stars by playing and gaining experience, then could pick up the animated Pip-Boy back bling. These are launch details, not confirmation that the same route or items remain available today.

Can you get the Fallout items in Fortnite now?
Current availability and prices are unverified here. Bethesda’s 2024 announcement does not establish what is listed in Fortnite’s Item Shop today, and no current listing for the Fallout cosmetics is confirmed. Check the live in-game Shop for an item’s present status and price rather than relying on its historical launch details.
Epic says the Item Shop rotates. Its general support guidance also says Battle Pass items released after August 7, 2024 may become available at least 18 months after a pass expires, but that is not a promise that a particular item will return. That guidance does not establish the current status of the Fallout items associated with the 2024 season. Epic’s guidance on Item Shop returns.

What the announcement does—and does not—confirm
Bethesda’s announcement is evidence of a 2024 Fortnite collaboration and its advertised cosmetics. It does not give current prices, guarantee a future return, or confirm the items’ present Item Shop inventory. Epic’s news archive is a place to check dated company announcements, but the archive alone does not establish a new Fallout crossover.
