But Epic’s announcements do not confirm new Battle Royale vehicle skins for 2026. Star Wars ships listed in Epic’s creator documentation are assets for Creative and UEFN islands, not a promise of Shop cosmetics.
What’s in Fortnite’s 2026 Star Wars crossover?
Epic and StarWars.com announced a slate of Star Wars content for May 2026, spanning creator-made islands, LEGO Fortnite Odyssey, a film-related event and rotating cosmetics. A separate August collaboration linked a Fortnite island to the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run attraction at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.
| Experience | What was announced | Where it appears | Availability and conditions |
|---|---|---|---|
| Star Wars creator-made games | Galactic Siege, Escape Vader and Droid Tycoon, alongside weekly quests across Star Wars games | Fortnite islands made by creators | Announced May 1, 2026. See Epic’s announcement and StarWars.com’s May roundup for details. |
| The Mandalorian and Grogu Watch Party Island | Explore Nevarro, watch a 10-minute film preview and earn the Mandalorian Sanctuary loading screen after 20 minutes on the island | A Fortnite island | Scheduled for May 19, 2026, at 10 a.m. ET. The announcement does not establish that the timed event remains available on October 8, 2026. |
| LEGO Fortnite Odyssey Star Wars update | Hover Brick, hover vehicles, Mando, Grogu and Star Wars enemies | LEGO Fortnite Odyssey | Announced for May 14, 2026. These are in-game features, not physical products. |
| Shop cosmetics | Rotating Star Wars outfits and accessories, including The Mandalorian (Pen & Ink) Outfit and BDX Droid Sidekick named for May 19 | Fortnite Shop | Shop inventory rotates. Check the live in-game Shop to see what is available now. |
| Carbonite Fishstick Back Bling | Digital reward for eligible players who link Epic Games and MyDisney accounts | Fortnite account reward | The offer is stated to run through October 31, 2026, subject to eligibility. Follow the official May announcement for account-linking details. |
| Smugglers Gambit | Fortnite island connected to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run | Fortnite and Disney parks | Beginning August 16, 2026, eligible park guests accepting the mission and linking eligible MyDisney and Epic accounts could claim the Forsworn Trooper Outfit after the ride. Park admission and reward conditions apply; this is not a universal free claim. |
Is Fortnite getting new Star Wars vehicle skins?
Epic’s reviewed 2026 announcements do not confirm new player-owned Star Wars vehicle skins for Battle Royale or the Fortnite Shop. Epic’s STAR WARS Islands documentation lists the X-wing, TIE Fighter, Naboo N-1 Starfighter and AAT as vehicle assets that creators can add to Star Wars islands in UEFN and Creative. It also documents Mandalorian-themed gameplay items for those islands. Creator-use assets are not the same thing as cosmetics players can buy or equip in Battle Royale.
What the older Beskar car release actually means
There is a past example of a Star Wars-themed vehicle cosmetic: on May 3, 2024, Epic announced the Beskar Car Body and related Beskar vehicle cosmetics with v29.40. Epic said they could be used in Rocket Racing, Battle Royale and creator-made islands where car items were supported, with Rocket League cross-game ownership. That 2024 release is historical context, not confirmation of a new 2026 vehicle skin. See Epic’s 2024 announcement.

How to claim the crossover rewards
Carbonite Fishstick Back Bling
- Check the official May Star Wars announcement for eligibility and account-linking instructions.
- Link your Epic Games Account with your MyDisney Account as directed.
- Complete the required steps by October 31, 2026. The reward is for eligible players, so linking alone should not be assumed to make every account eligible.
Forsworn Trooper Outfit
This reward is tied to the Smugglers Run park experience, not a stand-alone claim available to every Fortnite player. Epic and StarWars.com say eligible guests must accept the mission and link eligible MyDisney and Epic accounts; the reward can be claimed after the ride, beginning August 16, 2026. Check Epic’s announcement and StarWars.com’s announcement for current conditions.
