Yes—Capcom confirmed that Resident Evil Requiem would connect with Fortnite, and Epic’s offer grants the Grace Ashcroft Outfit to qualifying buyers who purchase the game on the Epic Games Store. The game launched on February 27, 2026; Epic’s separate Item Shop window for the outfit ended March 7, 2026. Epic says the game-purchase offer lasts while Requiem remains available for sale on the Epic Games Store, so check the current listing and terms before buying.
What was announced?
On November 26, 2025, Capcom announced that “Resident Evil Requiem is coming to Fortnite.” Capcom said ordering the game through the Epic Games Store would grant a Grace Ashcroft Fortnite skin and more, distributed after the game’s release. Epic’s FAQ identifies the cosmetic as the Grace Ashcroft Outfit.
Resident Evil Requiem is the ninth main installment in Capcom’s survival-horror series and was developed using the company’s RE ENGINE. It launched on February 27, 2026. Capcom announced versions for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, then added Nintendo Switch 2 for launch.
How can you get the Grace Ashcroft Outfit now?
Epic’s documented qualifying route is to purchase Resident Evil Requiem on the Epic Games Store using the same Epic account you use for Fortnite. Epic says the offer began October 29, 2025, at 6 p.m. ET, and qualifying buyers were to receive the outfit beginning February 27, 2026, at 12 a.m. ET. Because Epic describes the offer as lasting while the game remains available for sale on its store, confirm the current listing and offer terms there before purchasing.
#1 Best Overall
- Amazon Exclusive - 2 sided poster included in every game!
- Grace Ashcroft, an FBI intelligence analyst who is introverted and easily scared, representing a new type of character for the Resident Evil series. Grace will experience horror from the same perspective as the player as she learns to overcome her fears throughout the course of the story.
- For the first time ever in Resident Evil history, players will be able to freely switch between both first- and third-person perspectives throughout the game.
- An Anniversary to Remember: With March 2026 marking the Resident Evil series’ 30-year anniversary, Resident Evil Requiem marks its own milestone in the franchise.
- Pre-orders for Resident Evil Requiem are now open, with the bonus of Grace’s costume: Apocalypse. Please note that the picture weapon does not come with the costume, but it can be obtained in-game.
A physical copy bought from a retailer, or a digital copy purchased from another platform’s store, is not the qualifying purchase route documented in Epic’s FAQ. You can still choose another platform to play the game; the promotion eligibility is tied to where and through which Epic account you buy it.
How does account linking and delivery work?
- Use the same Epic account: Buy the game on the Epic Games Store with the Epic account used to play Fortnite.
- Access on other platforms: Epic says the outfit can appear in your Locker on other platforms when you sign into Fortnite with that Epic account on PC or mobile, or connect console accounts to it.
- If you already bought the outfit: Epic says that if you purchased the Grace Ashcroft Outfit in the Fortnite Item Shop and then buy Requiem on Epic, you receive 1,500 V-Bucks instead.
- If you refund the game: Epic says a refund removes an outfit granted through the qualifying purchase.
Has the Fortnite Item Shop offer ended?
Yes. Epic listed a separate Item Shop availability period from February 28, 2026, at 7 p.m. ET through March 7, 2026, at 6:59 p.m. ET. That window has passed. This was distinct from the game-purchase offer, which Epic says remains available while Resident Evil Requiem is for sale on the Epic Games Store.

Which version of Resident Evil Requiem should you buy?
Choose the platform and edition that suit how you want to play; do not assume that a platform purchase outside the Epic Games Store qualifies for the Fortnite outfit. Capcom’s November 2025 pre-order article described digital Deluxe Edition extras and a physical Steelbook Deluxe Edition. Edition contents and availability can change, so compare current listings before choosing.
| Choice | What the announcement established | Fortnite offer implication |
|---|---|---|
| PC through Epic Games Store | Capcom announced the game for PC; Epic documents its store purchase as the qualifying route. | Qualifies if the purchase and Fortnite use the same Epic account and the offer remains available under Epic’s current terms. |
| PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S | Capcom announced versions for both consoles. | A purchase through a console storefront is not the documented qualifying purchase. Linked accounts can provide Locker access to an outfit obtained through the Epic offer. |
| Nintendo Switch 2 | Capcom later announced the platform for launch. | A Switch 2 purchase is not the documented qualifying purchase route; Epic specifies an Epic Games Store purchase. |
| Physical copy from a retailer | Capcom said physical copies would be available through retailers. | Not the purchase route Epic identifies for the outfit. |
What else did Capcom announce?
Capcom announced a themed Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller for the game’s February 27, 2026 launch and a Grace Ashcroft amiibo for summer 2026. Those announcements establish planned products, not present-day stock or pricing; check current retailer listings for availability.
