A Fortnite x Chainsaw Man collaboration has not been officially confirmed in the sources available as of October 8, 2026. The claim began with a January report attributing a “in the works” rumor to leaker SamLeaks; an October reply from Fortnite’s official X account then renewed speculation but did not announce a crossover.
What prompted the Fortnite x Chainsaw Man rumor?
On January 5, 2026, Insider Gaming reported that Fortnite had begun work on a Chainsaw Man collaboration, attributing the claim to leaker SamLeaks. The report mentioned SamLeaks’ earlier Bleach-collaboration reveal but did not provide corroboration or the alleged source material. It also offered no release window, character roster, or Mythic items. This is a leaker-attributed report, not a statement from Epic Games.

What did Fortnite’s October reply show?
The October speculation followed a fan-made image first posted on September 29. Beebom described it as showing Denji, Tanjiro Kamado, and Monkey D. Luffy in a waiting room while Asta was being called to Fortnite; its caption read “Got a idea.” The image was fan content, not an official roadmap or announcement.
On October 6, Fortnite’s official X account reportedly replied to the image with a ticket stub reading “please take a number.” TalkEsport reported the ticket number as A84. The reply did not name Chainsaw Man or say that a collaboration was planned. TalkEsport and Insider Gaming covered the exchange on October 7–8 as a possible hint, while noting that Epic had not confirmed a crossover; Insider Gaming called the reply “far from solid confirmation.”

What is confirmed, and what remains speculation?
- Reported: Insider Gaming attributed a claim that the collaboration was “in the works” to SamLeaks in January.
- Reported: Fortnite’s official X account replied to a fan-made anime image with a ticket image in October.
- Not confirmed: An official Chainsaw Man collaboration announcement, release date, character or skin list, cosmetic bundle, Sidekick, Mythic, or gameplay feature.
- Not established: Whether the ticket reply referred to a Chainsaw Man crossover at all.
Character wish lists discussed around the rumor are speculation, not a confirmed lineup. The available reporting also contains no confirmation from a named Epic representative or official document. Keep the leaker’s claim, the reported social-media exchange, and a formal announcement distinct: only the first two appear in the coverage cited here.

A specific Epic announcement or confirmation from a rights holder would change the status of this story. Until then, treat proposed dates, skins, and items as unverified unless an official source publishes them. The October reply is observable social activity as reported by outlets, but its meaning is interpretation rather than proof of a planned release.
