Craig Geoghan won season 2 of Finding Mr. Christmas. He defeated Angel Garet and Rustin Sailors in the final three and earned a role in Hallmark’s A Make or Break Holiday. The second season featured 10 contestants competing through holiday-themed challenges, acting scenes, photo shoots, and emotional performance exercises, with Jonathan Bennett hosting and Melissa Peterman serving as lead judge.
Spoilers ahead for the season 2 competition and finale.
The season 2 cast at a glance

| Davey Fisher | 34 | Lake Tahoe, Nevada | Model and actor; also profiled as a new father |
| Drake Kuyper | 27 | Denver, Colorado | Contestant known in reunion coverage for his height and hair |

| Rustin Sailors | 37 | San Diego, California | Singer, songwriter, and musician; “Mr. Rockstar Romeo” |
The group was deliberately broader than a conventional professional-actor casting call. The contestants included actors and models, but also a bartender, former football players, a teacher, and a musician. That mix is part of the format: the competition tests screen presence, romantic chemistry, warmth, improvisation, and the ability to deliver Hallmark-style holiday emotion—not simply an established acting résumé.
Who hosted and judged season 2?
Jonathan Bennett returned as host and co-creator of the format. Bennett is also closely associated with Hallmark’s Christmas programming, making him both the competition’s guide and an example of the kind of holiday leading man the contestants were trying to become.

Melissa Peterman returned as lead judge. The season also brought in Hallmark actors, guest performers, and superfans for individual challenges and feedback. The official episode guide names Janel Parrish, Alison Sweeney, Hunter King, Ashley Williams, Sharon Lawrence, and Erin Krakow among the guest participants or judges appearing throughout the season.
What happened in the season 2 challenges?
Season 2 used a progression of challenges designed to test different parts of a potential Christmas-movie performance. Contestants had to look convincing in festive situations, work with scene partners, handle comedy and romance, and show enough emotional range to carry a holiday story.
Reinventing Santa and a ski-slope meet-cute
The season began with the 10 men putting their own spin on Santa Claus before performing a meet-cute scene on a ski slope with guest star Janel Parrish. The opening challenge established the competition’s central question: could each contestant create a distinct, appealing character while still fitting the tone of a Hallmark Christmas romance?
Reindeer games and an Entertainment Weekly photo shoot
A later episode combined a team-based reindeer game with an Entertainment Weekly photo shoot. The challenge tested physical coordination and teamwork as well as the contestants’ ability to project a polished, camera-ready image.

Gingerbread houses and a cowboy scene
The contestants then built gingerbread houses and performed a cowboy-themed scene with Alison Sweeney. The contrast between the craft challenge and the acting exercise gave the judges another way to evaluate creativity, composure, and chemistry.
The talent show
The talent-show episode gave the men room to reveal skills outside the standard romantic-lead setup. It was especially relevant for contestants such as Rustin Sailors, whose background is in singing, songwriting, and music, but the broader purpose was to see who could command attention and make a memorable impression.
A holiday neighborhood party with Hunter King
In another acting challenge, the contestants performed a holiday neighborhood-party scene with Hunter King. These ensemble scenes required them to interact naturally rather than rely only on a one-on-one romantic moment.
A picnic date with Ashley Williams
The picnic-date exercise with Ashley Williams focused more directly on romantic chemistry. Contestants had to make a scripted date feel relaxed, sincere, and emotionally specific—qualities that are central to Hallmark’s relationship-driven holiday movies.

The holiday-card exercise with Sharon Lawrence

Who made the season 2 finale?
The final three contestants were:
- Craig Geoghan
- Angel Garet
- Rustin Sailors
The finale, titled “Crowning Mr. Christmas,” was episode 8. The finalists performed in a period holiday scene with Erin Krakow, including a romantic Christmas kiss. That last performance served as the final test of whether one contestant could convincingly step into the central role of a Hallmark holiday story.
Craig Geoghan won Finding Mr. Christmas season 2
Craig Geoghan was crowned Mr. Christmas. Stony Brook University’s alumni news reported his victory on December 16, 2025, and post-finale coverage identified Angel Garet and Rustin Sailors as the other two finalists.
Geoghan entered the competition with acting experience and a background as a college football player. His prize was a role in a Hallmark Countdown to Christmas movie—an opportunity promoted as a path toward becoming a Hallmark leading man.
What movie did Craig Geoghan appear in?
Geoghan appeared in Hallmark’s A Make or Break Holiday, which premiered on Hallmark Channel on December 20, 2025. The film stars Hunter King and Evan Roderick as its principal romantic couple. Available cast listings identify Geoghan as Reid, Liv’s brother.
That credit is worth stating precisely. The competition’s prize was framed as a leading-man opportunity, but Geoghan’s credited role in A Make or Break Holiday is a supporting family role rather than one of the movie’s two principal romantic leads. Winning Finding Mr. Christmas therefore gave him a Hallmark movie role and an important screen opportunity, but it should not be described as making him the film’s romantic lead.
