Armytage said expectations were higher after the previous season’s success. The season premiered on Sunday, 14 April 2024, at 7pm on Channel 7 and 7plus.
Why the pressure was on for season 14
Armytage’s comment was about audience expectations, not pressure on the farmers to find a partner. In a 7 April 2024 report, PerthNow quoted her saying: “I love getting to know our new farmers and meeting our new ladies…but we have added pressure this year because last year was so unbelievably huge,” she admits. The remark linked the new season’s expectations to the success of the preceding season.
