The Fallout two-LP vinyl release is Ramin Djawadi’s original score for the series—not the familiar licensed songs heard in the show. Lakeshore Records announced the physical edition in 2024, pairing the score with opaque yellow and blue records, a gatefold sleeve, and full-color inserts.
What’s on the Fallout vinyl?
The set collects Djawadi’s score cues. Lakeshore’s listing names 21 tracks across four sides, including “Brotherhood of Steel (full version),” “The Ghoul,” “Vault 33,” “Shady Sands,” and “T-60.” The album is not a compilation of the licensed songs featured in the series.
The digital album listing on Amazon Music also shows 21 songs and a runtime of 1 hour and 12 minutes. That duration applies to the digital album; it is not a stated playing-time measurement for a vinyl copy. Amazon Music’s digital album listing

Why the score and licensed songs are different
In an interview, Djawadi explained how the show’s existing music shaped his work: “Having the licensed songs automatically connects us to the Fallout universe, giving me the freedom to explore new sounds with the character themes.” He said he developed themes for three main characters and shaped them around each character’s story arc. The licensed tracks help establish the world; his score supplies character-focused themes. Read the io9 interview with Ramin Djawadi
The 2024 release dates and prices are historical
io9’s April 24, 2024 announcement said the record was planned for June 11, with preorders at $30. Lakeshore’s product page instead carries a preorder note estimating a June 14, 2024 street date. Those were launch-era details, not a current release announcement or confirmation of present availability. io9’s original vinyl announcement
