Fallout was named the 2024 Best Adaptation winner at The Game Awards. The official 2024 archive credits Bethesda, Kilter Films and Amazon MGM Studios.
Did Fallout beat Arcane?
Not in a same-year matchup established by the official records cited here. Arcane won Best Adaptation in 2022, according to The Game Awards’ 2022 archive. The available archive pages confirm each show’s win in its respective year, but do not establish that Arcane was a 2024 nominee or that the two competed directly.
Is Fallout the latest Best Adaptation winner?
No. The current Best Adaptation category page shows The Last of Us: Season 2 as the 2025 winner. Fallout remains the 2024 winner; the year matters when describing the result.
