Ella Purnell and Walton Goggins announced that Fallout Season 2 had wrapped filming, according to a report published by GameSpot on May 12, 2025. That is the date the announcement was reported—not a confirmed final day of production. The season has since premiered, and Amazon says all episodes of Seasons 1 and 2 are available on Prime Video.
What was reported about the production wrap?
GameSpot reported on May 12, 2025, that Ella Purnell shared the wrap news on Instagram and Walton Goggins posted through the show’s official social account. The report establishes that filming had wrapped by then; it does not give an exact last day of principal photography. GameSpot’s May 12, 2025 report is the contemporaneous source for the announcement.

Can you watch Fallout Season 2 now?
Yes. Amazon’s June 19, 2026 update says every episode of the first two seasons is available on Prime Video. The Prime Video Season 2 listing presents the season as eight episodes and includes its cast and official trailer. Catalog availability can vary by region and change over time.
Where does Season 2 go, and do you need to play the games first?
Season 2 continues after the first-season finale and takes viewers through the Mojave toward New Vegas, according to Amazon’s series update. The show is based on the Fallout video game franchise, but playing a game is not required to follow the series. Fallout: New Vegas is an optional way to explore the setting; the available information does not establish that the show directly adapts that game’s plot.
