What is The Kardashians about?
Hulu presents the series as a look at the family’s relationships, personal changes, businesses and public lives. Its six central cast members are Kris Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian Barker, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner. That description reflects Hulu’s framing of the show, rather than an independent account of how its unscripted footage is produced.
Hulu also credits the six family members as executive producers, alongside Ben Winston, Danielle King, Emma Conway, Elizabeth Jones and Erin Foye. See Hulu’s official series page for its current cast and credits.
How is it different from Keeping Up With the Kardashians?
Keeping Up With the Kardashians began in 2007 and ran for 20 seasons. The Kardashians premiered in 2022 and follows a later period in the family’s public and professional lives. The two shows are connected parts of the same TV franchise, but the earlier series is not a prerequisite for watching the Hulu Original.

Where can you watch the shows?
Hulu is the direct place to check for The Kardashians in the United States. Its catalog and season count can change, and streaming rights differ by territory, so use the current listing for the location where you watch rather than assuming the same availability worldwide. Hulu says the series is also available on Hulu on Disney+ for eligible bundle subscribers; confirm the current service terms and catalog.
Hulu announced on January 8, 2026 that all 20 seasons of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, plus selected spinoffs and specials, would become available to stream in the US beginning February 17, 2026. The announced related titles included Kourtney & Khloé Take Miami, Kourtney & Khloé Take the Hamptons and Kourtney & Kim Take New York. Availability may have changed since that announcement; check Hulu’s announcement and the live catalog.

Which show should you watch first?
Hulu’s June 2026 franchise guide recommends starting with Keeping Up With the Kardashians if you are new to the family’s shows, because it provides background. But Hulu also says viewers can begin with any season or series. Choose based on the story you want:
- Want the earlier franchise background? Start with Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
- Mainly interested in the later chapter? Start with The Kardashians.
- Not sure you want a full watch order? You can sample either series without treating the predecessor as required viewing.

How many seasons are available, and will there be another?
As of its June 11, 2026 guide, Hulu said seven full seasons of The Kardashians were streaming and season eight was coming soon. That is a dated catalog update, not a guarantee of what is available now. Hulu’s current series listing is the best place to confirm the latest season and episode status. The cited guide does not establish a later season announcement beyond saying season eight was coming soon.

The Hulu materials cited here do not provide an independently measured audience or ratings figure for The Kardashians. A statement in Hulu’s January 2026 announcement describes the earlier franchise as successful and enduring, but it is a promotional comment from Val Boreland, President Entertainment at VERSANT, not a viewership statistic.
