No published list can yet be called a complete, verified roster of every Nintendo Switch 2 game open to preorder in the United States. What can be established is how Nintendo’s US eShop handles preorders, which titles carried a “Pre-order now” label on Nintendo’s US upcoming-games page when it was checked, and how to confirm each title yourself on the day you buy.
Titles marked “Pre-order now” on Nintendo’s US store
Nintendo’s US “Coming soon” page lists both Nintendo Switch 2 and original Nintendo Switch games, so a “Pre-order now” label on that page does not by itself mean a title runs on Switch 2. The entries below were visible in an indexed copy of the page. The rendered content did not expose every title card, and platform tags were not visible for these entries, so each one needs a platform check before it goes on a Switch 2 list.

These eight titles are examples, not the full set. Two of them, Hell is Us and Deck of Haunts, carry a listed release date of October 8, 2026, which falls before this article’s publication date of October 9, 2026. A “Pre-order now” label on a title whose release date has already passed is stale, so treat those two entries as unconfirmed until the live Nintendo page shows a current preorder.
How eShop preorders work
Nintendo Support’s Nintendo eShop Pre-Order and Pre-Load FAQ sets the payment rule that matters most to buyers: “When you pre-order content on Nintendo eShop, payment will not be processed until, at earliest, 7 days before the game is released.” The FAQ names no individual author, so cite it as Nintendo Support.

#1 Best Overall
- Race from one course to another through interconnected paths that span the world
- Traverse mountains, forests, cities, and more—with shifting weather patterns and a day/night cycle
- Ride on rails, jump off walls, skim across water, and more as you race for the finish line
- Take on the adrenaline-packed Knockout Tour—a fierce 24-driver elimination mode
- Explore courses at your own pace and wander the world to discover fun surprises in Free Roam
- Eligibility is selective. Nintendo says only select unreleased games and downloadable content can be preordered on the eShop. A title being listed on the store does not guarantee an eShop preorder option.
- Payment comes late. Your card is charged no sooner than seven days before release, not when you click the preorder button.
- Preloading follows payment. Once payment is processed, the game downloads to the console ahead of launch.
- Cancellation has a deadline. Nintendo says an eShop preorder can be canceled before payment is processed and preloading begins.
- Launch still needs a step. The game unlocks at release time and needs a small update before you can start playing.
How to build a current list yourself
- Open Nintendo’s US “Coming soon” page on nintendo.com.
- For each title, open its own Nintendo page and confirm the platform is Nintendo Switch 2, not only Nintendo Switch.
- Confirm the release date and that the button reads “Pre-order now” on that page.
- Note the date and time you checked. Preorder labels change, and release dates can move.
- Only if you want a physical edition, check the retailer’s listing separately for format, price, and preorder status.
Digital preorders and retailer preorders are different purchases
A “Pre-order now” label on Nintendo’s store describes a digital eShop purchase. It does not show that a physical edition is available at a retailer, and the official store and support materials reviewed do not establish retailer stock or prices. When you compare options, check each of these separately:
- Digital format on the Nintendo eShop, or physical format at a retailer
- Confirmed Nintendo Switch 2 platform support
- Release date
- Current preorder status
- Listed price
Do not assume that a digital and a physical edition have the same content or the same preorder bonuses. Only the individual listing can confirm that.

What this list cannot tell you
- It is not exhaustive. Nintendo’s store page did not expose every title card, so titles missing from the examples above may also carry a preorder option.
- The labels and dates shown are from an indexed copy of Nintendo’s listing and were not re-checked against the live store on the day of publication.
- No official preorder sales or volume figures were found, so this article offers no preorder popularity data.
- Retailer inventory, physical preorder availability, and pricing were not verified for any title.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
