Its central mechanic, the Kit, lets Bradley alter unfinished objects and geometry as he explores, traverses levels, solves puzzles and fights. Day 4 Night’s creative leads include Davide Soliani, known for his work on Mario + Rabbids, and Christian Cantamessa, whose credits include Red Dead Redemption. A worldwide publishing partnership with Focus Entertainment Publishing was announced in June 2026; the available announcements do not confirm a release date or additional platforms.
What is Bradley the Badger?
Bradley the Badger is an upcoming 3D action-adventure built around exploration, traversal, freeform puzzles and combat. Its story follows a platforming mascot who finds himself in strange, unfinished worlds and tries to save his home and friends. The game mixes gameplay with live-action sequences and satire about videogames, with Peters performing Bradley in both voice-over and live action, according to Day 4 Night Studios’ December 11, 2025 announcement.
That premise makes the game meta in a specific way: Bradley’s world is unfinished, and the tool he uses to navigate it resembles a game-development tool. It is not a documentary or a released game; it remains an announced project.
What does the Kit do?
The Kit is Bradley’s defining tool. Day 4 Night describes it as a way to interact with incomplete assets and change how parts of the world work. The official game website lists powers that let Bradley:

The studio says the Kit affects exploration, traversal, puzzle solving and combat. The website also names Volumify, Gravity and Liquify, but its visible description does not explain those powers in detail. Their exact effects should not be assumed.
Who is making Bradley the Badger?
Bradley the Badger is Day 4 Night Studios’ debut original intellectual property. The studio’s co-founders and directors are Christian Cantamessa and Davide Soliani.

Davide Soliani
Soliani is known for leading creative work on Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and Rayman in the Phantom Show. That is a connection through a creator’s previous work—not evidence that Bradley the Badger is a Mario + Rabbids game, sequel or spin-off.
Christian Cantamessa
Cantamessa’s named credits include Red Dead Redemption and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. The studio’s reveal announcement says Day 4 Night was founded by five industry veterans and funded by KRAFTON, Inc., with participation from 1Up Ventures.

Who is publishing the game?
On June 10, 2026, Focus Entertainment Publishing announced a worldwide publishing partnership with Day 4 Night to support Bradley the Badger. The announcement did not provide a release date or confirm a platform list. It also reported that the game ranked among Steam’s top 10 most-wishlisted titles among new announcements one week after The Game Awards 2025. That is a publisher-attributed ranking from that period, not a current wishlist count, sales figure or player total. See the partnership announcement.
What platforms will Bradley the Badger be on, and when will it release?
At the December 2025 reveal, Day 4 Night said the game was planned for PC via Steam while the team explored additional platforms and consoles. A January 16, 2026 interview likewise described it as announced for PC and said its release window was unconfirmed. These are dated statements; the reviewed announcements do not confirm a console version or release date. The interview is available from Gamereactor.

The official site currently links to a Steam wishlist. Its Shop is labeled “Coming Soon,” which does not establish that the game or merchandise is available to buy. Use the wishlist route for updates rather than treating it as a purchase listing.

The announced concept brings together three elements: a mascot-led platforming adventure, a fictional development tool that changes the environment, and live-action sequences within a satirical story about videogames. The Kit gives that premise a gameplay role rather than leaving it as a story conceit: its listed uses connect directly to movement, puzzles and combat.

At reveal, Cantamessa described the game as “part love letter to videogames and part satire of them.” Soliani said the team wanted the mechanics to bridge “the past and the future.” Those are the directors’ stated intentions; how fully the finished game delivers on them will depend on the released experience.
