Their French garden party wedding brought together about 40 guests for a celebration Amurri said was designed around both the couple and her three children.
A family-centered ceremony
In her interview with People, Amurri said she and Hock wanted their children to be central to the day: “We really wanted to center our little family unit in all of it, and make it as much about the kids as it was about us.” Her three children with former husband Kyle Martino took part in the ceremony. Her son Major walked her down the aisle; the children chose ribbons for a hand-fasting ritual, and guests passed the rings for a blessing before the exchange. The couple also wrote personal vows.
Amurri is the daughter of actor Susan Sarandon and director Franco Amurri. Sarandon and her former partner, actor Tim Robbins, attended the wedding. Entertainment Tonight also reported the date, venue and intimate scale of the celebration.
The French garden party style
The couple described the wedding’s theme as a French garden party. The reported palette used natural colors with pale green and blue accents, while chamomile flowers appeared in the decor and on the cake.

Amurri’s two wedding looks
For the ceremony, Amurri wore a strapless, corseted Kim Kassas gown with a column silhouette and an attached billowing skirt. She bought it at Bridal Reflections in New York City. For the reception, she changed into a Kim Kassas minidress and wore Nike Air Force Ones embellished with pearls and the wedding date.
Hock and the wedding party
Hock wore a custom navy suit and vest by SuitShop, and Amurri’s sons wore custom-sized tan suits from the same label. Sarandon wore a custom floral SuitShop suit. Hudson Valley food and the reception
The couple wanted the menu to showcase the region. Grounded catering prepared an open-fire meal that included Hudson Valley duck, cedar plank salmon, vegetables and salads, served family style. Grazing tables featured local charcuterie and cheeses. Drinks included local beers, wines from small vineyards, a non-alcoholic berry shrub and a fresh-fruit margarita.
The vanilla cake was filled with macerated fresh raspberries, covered in Italian meringue buttercream and decorated with chamomile. Amurri and Hock’s first dance was to Taylor Swift’s “Lover.” They also shared a family dance to Andy Grammer’s “Joy,” which Amurri described as their special family song.

How Amurri and Hock got together
Amurri told People that she first met Hock at a restaurant where he was the chef. She had recently divorced and was pregnant at the time, and she described their courtship as gradual. Hock proposed in February 2023 in the gardens of the Rodin Museum in Paris; Entertainment Tonight also reported the engagement.
