EPCOT combines major rides with live entertainment, gardens, character experiences, galleries and aquariums. To plan a visit, choose attractions around your group’s interests and mobility needs, decide where to eat, and check Disney’s calendar for the exact date: hours, ride availability, festivals and shows can change.
What should you do first at EPCOT?
Start by choosing a few priorities rather than trying to cover every attraction. EPCOT’s mix includes headline rides such as Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Frozen Ever After, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Test Track, alongside slower experiences such as Spaceship Earth, Journey of Water and The Seas with Nemo & Friends. Disney’s official EPCOT attractions listing also includes shows, character experiences and other activities.
Make a short list based on what your group enjoys, then check the attraction pages for current operation, height rules and accessibility details. Disney’s attraction listing may mark new offerings, but that is not a guarantee that any particular attraction will operate on your visit date.
Which rides have height requirements?
Requirements vary by attraction. Disney lists a 42-inch minimum height for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and 40-inch minimums for Mission: SPACE and Test Track. Check the individual attraction pages for current rules, transfer requirements and advisories before you go.

Height is only one planning factor. Consider whether a ride is indoors or outdoors, its intensity, and whether each guest can board in the way the attraction requires. If someone in your group has mobility needs, review Disney’s accessibility information for the specific ride rather than assuming that all attractions offer the same access.
Where should you eat?
Disney’s EPCOT dining directory showed 68 options when checked on October 8, 2026. It identifies venue type, cuisine, price band and reservation availability. Use those details to compare quick-service meals with table-service restaurants, and weigh location, budget and whether a reservation is available for your date.

Examples in the directory include Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, Biergarten Restaurant, Block & Hans, Chefs de France and Canada Popcorn Cart. These illustrate the range of choices, not a recommendation or a guarantee of current availability. Price bands are useful for orientation; they are not a quote for a particular meal or party. Check the directory and the restaurant’s current details before making plans.
How do you plan around hours, festivals and shows?
Use Disney’s Park Hours and Events Calendar for the specific date you plan to visit. It is the appropriate place to verify park hours, early entry information, festival programming and entertainment. Do not assume that a schedule shown for another date will apply to yours.

For example, the calendar view checked during research showed July 2026 dates with park hours of 9:00 AM–9:00 PM, early entry from 8:30 AM, EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival programming and Luminous The Symphony of Us at 9:00 PM. Those were values for the dates displayed, not a standing schedule. Confirm your own date on the calendar and recheck nearer the visit, since schedules and operations can change.

Disney’s EPCOT Guest Services page lists transportation and practical services including buses, monorail, water transportation and the Skyliner. The best route depends on where you are starting, your mobility needs and which services are operating. Check the current transportation information for your origin and date rather than relying on a single route as universally best.

The same page lists wheelchair and ECV rentals, stroller rentals, lockers, water refill stations and portable phone charging. Check the current service details and availability if you plan to rely on any of them.

What should you bring?
- Plan for a phone-dependent day. A portable phone power bank is an optional packing item if you expect to use your phone throughout the visit. Disney also lists portable phone charging at EPCOT; it does not endorse a particular power bank or say that guests need to buy one.
- Check needs before arrival. Review attraction access details and the Guest Services page if your group may need rentals, lockers or other listed services.
- Keep plans flexible. Confirm hours, attraction operation, dining availability and entertainment for your date, since these details can change.
