It began on August 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time, ran for 24 hours, and remained available as a replay for seven days. That replay window has ended.
For viewers looking for the anime now, the series is available through paid streaming services and digital stores in the United States. A Crunchyroll trial may provide temporary access, but it is not the same as an ongoing free streaming option.
What the free Demon Slayer stream actually included
Crunchyroll’s 2025 event was designed as a marathon on the official Crunchyroll YouTube channel. It covered the released television story in order, included Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train, and ended with trailers for Infinity Castle.
The announced running order was:
- Final Selection Arc
- First Mission Arc
- Asakusa Arc
- Tsuzumi Mansion Arc
- Natagumo Mountain Arc
- Rehabilitation Training Arc
- Mugen Train movie
- Entertainment District Arc
- Swordsmith Village Arc
- Hashira Training Arc
- Infinity Castle trailers
The YouTube marathon used Japanese audio with English subtitles. It did not provide the English dub as part of the free event.

Why “the entire series” is misleading
The promotion covered the released TV anime and the Mugen Train film, but it was not a free release of every Demon Slayer production. Most importantly, Infinity Castle was not part of the marathon as a feature film. The event showed trailers, not the movie itself.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle I later arrived on Crunchyroll on July 28, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time. That streaming premiere was separate from the 2025 YouTube watch party and took place almost a year later. Crunchyroll lists the film with Japanese and English audio options.
Where to watch Demon Slayer in the U.S. now
Current U.S. listings show the series on several subscription platforms. Availability, language options, and pricing can change, so check the title page before subscribing.
| Option | How it works | Free? |
|---|---|---|
| Crunchyroll | Subscription streaming; the series page lists sub and dub options | No ongoing free option reported |
| Netflix | Subscription streaming, including a Standard with Ads tier | No |
| Hulu | Subscription streaming | No |
| YouTube TV | Live-TV subscription service | No |
| Crunchyroll Amazon Channel | Crunchyroll content accessed through an Amazon subscription channel | No |
| Digital stores | Buy individual episodes or seasons through Fandango At Home, Amazon Video, or the Apple TV Store | No |
JustWatch’s current U.S. listing reports no free streaming option for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. The listing is a useful availability check, but regional catalogs are not identical. A title available in the United States may be absent from the same service elsewhere.
Is the Crunchyroll free trial a way to watch it?
Potentially, but only temporarily and with an important billing condition. Crunchyroll’s standard free trial lasts seven days, requires a valid payment method, and provides Premium access during the trial. Unless it is canceled, it automatically becomes a paid membership.
There is also a detail that catches viewers out: canceling the trial ends Premium access immediately rather than preserving access until the original seven-day period expires. Anyone using the trial should read the billing screen carefully and cancel only after deciding whether immediate loss of access is acceptable.

- Tanjiro Kamado, joined with Inosuke Hashibira, a boy raised by boars who wears a boar's head, and Zenitsu Agatsuma, a scared boy who reveals his true power when he sleeps, board the Infinity Train on a new mission with the Fire Pillar, Kyojuro Rengoku, to defeat a demon who has been tormenting the people and killing the demon slayers who oppose it!
What about Crunchyroll Channel?
Crunchyroll Channel is a separate, free, ad-supported 24-hour channel. It is available on selected platforms including LG Smart TVs, Vizio Smart TVs, Amazon Freevee, and Roku. However, its schedule changes, and it is not an on-demand library of the complete Crunchyroll catalog.
Crunchyroll’s current support information does not list Demon Slayer among its example titles that have aired on the channel. It would therefore be inaccurate to tell viewers that they can watch the entire anime there whenever they want. At most, viewers would need to check the live schedule and accept that a particular title may not be included.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsHow to check before paying
- Search for the series on the service you already use, rather than assuming the service’s full anime catalog is available in your country.
- Open the actual title page and check whether it includes the seasons or arcs you want.
- Confirm audio and subtitle options. Crunchyroll currently lists both dubbed and subtitled choices, while the 2025 free marathon was Japanese audio with English subtitles only.
- Check whether Mugen Train is included as a movie or whether the story appears through the television adaptation.
- For Infinity Castle I, look for the film separately; it is not part of the old YouTube promotion.
- If using a trial, record the renewal date and review the cancellation terms before starting it.
The practical answer
There is no current, permanent free YouTube release of the complete Demon Slayer anime based on the announcement behind this headline. The free opportunity was a time-limited 2025 marathon that expired after its seven-day replay period.
Viewers in the U.S. can currently find the TV series on services including Crunchyroll, Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube TV, or purchase it digitally. The Infinity Castle film is a separate listing, and a Crunchyroll trial may offer seven days of Premium access if its automatic billing terms are acceptable.
