Eminem attended his daughter Hailie Jade Scott Mathers’s wedding to Evan McClintock on May 18, 2024, in Battle Creek, Michigan. The moment behind reports that he “stole the show” was a father-daughter dance at the reception, documented in photos reported by TMZ and covered by The Knot.

TMZ’s wedding-day photographs, as reported by The Knot and Vanity Fair, showed Eminem sharing a dance with Hailie during the reception. That father-daughter moment is the specific event captured by the headline’s “steals the show” wording; the coverage does not establish what every guest thought or felt.
What did the couple wear?
The Knot described Hailie’s gown as a strapless mermaid dress with a sweetheart neckline, paired with a cathedral-length veil. Evan wore a black tuxedo, with white roses among the florals. These are descriptions of the wedding photos, not a disclosure of designers or product endorsements.

How did Hailie describe the celebration?
In a wedding announcement reproduced by The Knot and Good Morning America, Hailie wrote: “Waking up a wife this week 🥲💍 We couldn’t have asked for a better, more beautiful weekend celebration. So so many happy tears were shed, laughs & smiles were had, & so much love was felt.”
She also thanked “all of the family & friends that traveled to support us and be a part of this new chapter of our lives as husband & wife 🤍.” The announcement conveys the couple’s own account of the weekend; it is not a statement by Eminem. Good Morning America reproduced Hailie’s announcement.
