What is the Eminem and Snoop Dogg Bored Ape video?
The video is for “From the D 2 the LBC,” a collaboration by Eminem and Snoop Dogg. The title connects Detroit, Eminem’s “D,” with Long Beach, Snoop Dogg’s “LBC.” In the animated sequences, the artists are represented as Bored Ape-style figures rather than appearing only as themselves on camera.
Eminem named James Larese as the director in his official announcement. Universal Music Brasil says the video was produced by 1st AMENDMENT and Young California in collaboration with BAYC; animation studio Nathan Love describes the project as a combination of live action and 2D animation.
When did the video come out?
The video’s premiere and the single’s catalog release have different dates. Eminem’s official post is dated June 23, 2022, and his album announcement later said the track and video made their global premiere at Ape Fest, during NFT.NYC, on June 23. Apple Music lists the single as released June 24, 2022, under Shady/Aftermath/Interscope Records.

How does the song fit into Curtain Call 2?
Eminem announced “From the D 2 the LBC” as the lead single from Curtain Call 2, his second greatest-hits collection. The announcement scheduled the album for August 5, 2022, and also mentioned limited-edition box sets and a limited quantity of autographed vinyl. The song’s connection to the album does not establish a standalone physical release of the single.
How is the video different from the VMAs performance?
The official BAYC page separately documents a later performance of “From the D to the LBC” at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards on August 28. Eminem and Snoop performed as their BAYC avatars in a fully animated performance. That VMA appearance was a distinct event from the music video’s June premiere.
