After the wedding breaks apart, Gabriel tells Emily that Camille is pregnant with his child. That late reveal is the season’s central cliffhanger: Emily and Gabriel’s attraction is still there, but Gabriel is about to become a father with Camille. Creator Darren Star told Netflix Tudum the team wanted the pregnancy to arrive “as a big revelation at the last moment of the season.” Netflix Tudum’s Season 3 ending explanation
Where do Emily, Gabriel, Camille, and Alfie stand?
- Emily and Gabriel: Their romantic connection remains unresolved. The pregnancy complicates any possibility of acting on it, because Gabriel and Camille will share responsibility for a child.
- Camille: Her wedding decision and pregnancy reshape her relationship with Gabriel and the triangle with Emily. The pregnancy does not simply settle the romantic conflict; it adds a lasting family responsibility to it.
- Alfie: He ends the season believing Emily’s connection to Gabriel is more than friendship. Netflix’s Season 4 guide says his worst fears about the two of them have been confirmed. Netflix Tudum’s Season 4 guide
What should you remember about Mindy?
Mindy’s music ambitions are still active. She and her band are headed to Eurovision as France’s official representatives, but the Season 4 setup says they have run short of funds while preparing. Her story is not just a finished performance arc: the opportunity is real, and so is the practical challenge of getting there. Netflix Tudum’s Season 4 guide

What is happening with Gabriel’s restaurant and Emily’s work?
Emily and Gabriel’s personal lives overlap with their professional ambitions. In the Season 4 setup, Netflix says they work together toward a Michelin star for Gabriel’s restaurant. Their collaboration means the wedding fallout does not automatically remove them from each other’s daily lives. Netflix Tudum’s Season 4 guide
What is the setup for Sylvie and Agence Grateau?
Sylvie faces a problem from her past that affects her marriage, while Agence Grateau navigates changes among its staff. Those threads give Season 4 a separate source of tension from Emily’s romantic situation: Sylvie must manage both personal consequences and the agency’s evolving team. Netflix Tudum’s Season 4 guide
The Season 3 takeaway
Remember the ending as two conflicts that now collide: Emily and Gabriel still have unresolved feelings, while Gabriel’s child with Camille creates a responsibility that cannot be waved away by romantic chemistry. Alfie knows what he suspected, Mindy is chasing Eurovision with a cash shortfall, and Emily’s work continues to keep her near Gabriel.
