Sailor Moon series director Kunihiko Ikuhara also mourned her, saying he was “heartbroken and lonely” and thanking her for playing Sailor Jupiter and for their memories. He recalled that she had been happy about flowers he sent to a live show the previous year. His remarks were reported by ORICON.
Among Shinohara’s other recognizable anime roles were Kaho Mizuki in Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card, Kaori Toyama in BanG Dream!, and Kushina Uzumaki in Naruto Shippuden, according to ORICON.
