How Season 3’s spring run fits the timeline
CBS’s episode guide lists a Season 3 return on February 26, 2026, followed by another episode on March 5. Those dates establish that Season 3 continued into the spring ahead of the planned Season 4 premiere in October.
Where to watch Season 4
CBS is the broadcast option. Paramount+ says Season 4 episodes air weekly on CBS and distinguishes its streaming access by plan:
#1 Best Overall
- Watch live: Paramount+ Premium includes live streaming, according to the service.
- Watch the next day: Paramount+ says episodes are available the day after broadcast on any Paramount+ plan.
Plan features and availability can change, and streaming access may vary by region; check Paramount+ for current terms.
What Elsbeth is about
CBS describes Elsbeth Tascioni, played by Carrie Preston, as an unconventional attorney who works with the NYPD to track New York’s most entitled murderers. The series is based on the character featured in The Good Wife and The Good Fight. CBS identifies Preston, an Emmy Award winner, as returning in the title role.
Rank #2
- An alcoholic ex cop finds a woman on the roadside, left for dead. He offers to find the killer pro bono as P.I. Her granddad hires him. Things get nasty.
What the update does—and does not—confirm
The current official listings establish the Season 4 premiere date and viewing routes. They do not identify the particular earlier announcement described as an “incredible update,” so it would be speculative to say that phrase refers to a specific renewal or production development.
