The post explains the account’s stated arrangement; it does not establish who authored every post or show that Holmes is accessing X from prison.
What Holmes said in the September 28 post
Variety reported that Holmes wrote she had been “silenced for a long time” and then imprisoned. She also said she had been incarcerated for 1,216 days, was fighting to prove her innocence, and wanted to return to her children and partner. The day count is Holmes’s own statement as quoted by Variety, not an independently verified statistic.
Holmes said loved ones had helped manage the account and identified Evans as one of them. She introduced a convention for distinguishing her own words: “Starting now, all posts in my own words will be marked -EAH.” She said posts without that signature came from the team managing the account. Those statements describe the arrangement she announced; they do not verify the authorship of any particular unsigned post. (Variety, September 29, 2026)
Is Elizabeth Holmes tweeting directly from prison?
The post does not establish that Holmes personally used a phone or internet connection in prison. The distinction matters: an account can publish messages supplied by someone in custody without that person logging in or posting directly.

In August 2025, the Houston Chronicle reported that Holmes was at Federal Prison Camp Bryan in Texas and that her X account had resumed activity. The account bio then read, “Mostly my words, posted by others.” The Chronicle described federal-prison restrictions on personal cell phones and internet-connected devices, but said the Bureau of Prisons had not answered its question about whether inmates could direct outside contacts to post for them. That 2025 reporting is background, not a current BOP ruling on Holmes’s account arrangement. (Houston Chronicle, August 29, 2025)

Variety connected the renewed attention to You Can See Everything, a documentary by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim. The outlet reported that Holmes and Evans had invited the filmmakers into their home before her imprisonment and that the film was scheduled for a theatrical release on October 16, 2026. That date was the reported plan at the time; the available reporting does not establish current streaming, home-viewing, or physical-media availability. The post’s timing is clear, but the report does not establish Holmes’s motive beyond what she wrote. (Variety, September 29, 2026)
