Elin Nordegren’s life after her marriage to Tiger Woods is different most clearly in what the public record emphasizes: her return to college, her role as a mother, and a public commitment to cooperative co-parenting. Nordegren enrolled at Rollins College in 2005 and graduated with a psychology degree in 2014. Recent reporting also placed her and Woods together at a school ceremony for their son Charlie in February 2026. That appearance offers a glimpse of a shared family milestone—not a window into Nordegren’s private daily life.
What has changed since her years with Tiger Woods?
During her marriage to Woods, Nordegren was widely known through her connection to one of golf’s most prominent figures. After their marriage ended, public coverage increasingly documented a different set of milestones: completing a degree, raising their children, and describing the kind of co-parenting relationship she hoped to build. That is a change in public identity and priorities as they appear in reporting; it does not establish what her ordinary life in Florida looks like.
Parade reports that Nordegren enrolled at Rollins College in 2005 and graduated with a psychology degree in 2014. At her commencement, she described education as a source of continuity and comfort during a difficult period. She said, “Education has been the only consistent part of my life the last nine years. And it has offered me comfort,” and added, “Education is one thing that no one can take away from you.” Parade’s 2026 feature reproduces those remarks.
Education became a defining public milestone
Nordegren’s return to college is a concrete marker in the story of her life after the marriage. She enrolled in 2005 and completed her psychology degree in 2014, according to Parade. In her commencement remarks, she also spoke to other mothers considering education: “If I can inspire even one mom to go back and get her degree with the message that it’s never too late, then I am happy.”

Those statements show how she publicly framed her education at that moment. They do not, by themselves, establish her current occupation or whether she works in psychology today.
Motherhood and co-parenting remain part of the public picture
Nordegren and Woods share two children, Sam and Charlie. In remarks Parade attributes to Nordegren in 2014, she described her hope for them: “I don’t think I doubted we’d end up here. That was always my dream, that the kids can have two loving parents that show respect for each other.” Woods later spoke about the importance of making their parenting work, telling Stephen Colbert in 2015, “We have Sam and we have Charlie. And we love them so much that we are going to do whatever it takes to make that work.” Both quotations are reproduced in Parade’s feature.

What the February 2026 school appearance shows—and what it does not
E! reported that Nordegren and Woods attended a February 24, 2026 ceremony celebrating Charlie’s school golf team. It is a dated public example of both parents being present for a family milestone. It does not establish the details of their private relationship, their custody arrangements, or how often they see one another. E!’s report describes the event.

The available public reporting supports a careful answer: Nordegren’s education, her role as Sam and Charlie’s mother, and her stated hope for respectful co-parenting are documented. It does not establish her exact current residence, daily routine, or present employment. Those details should not be filled in from unverified claims about a particular home or counselling work.
