Eenie Meanie is a 2025 crime-action comedy thriller about a former teenage getaway driver pulled back into dangerous work to help her unreliable ex-boyfriend. Shawn Simmons wrote and directed the film, which stars Samara Weaving as Edie. It runs 1 hour 46 minutes and is rated R.
What is Eenie Meanie about?
Edie, known as Eenie Meanie, used to drive getaway cars as a teenager. Years later, a former employer offers her a chance to save her chronically unreliable ex-boyfriend, drawing her back into the world she left behind. Apple TV describes the resulting job as a risky casino robbery.
The premise combines a crime job with the complications of Edie’s past relationship. If you are deciding whether it suits your taste, consider whether you want a story centered on the robbery, the getaway-driving, or the character and relationship stakes; the official synopsis establishes the setup but not how much screen time each element receives.
