On 28 July 2025, promoters Frontier Touring and MG Live announced four extra Australian stadium dates for Ed Sheeran’s Loop Tour. The shows were scheduled for February 2026 and have now passed; the announcement said general public tickets would go on sale on 29 July 2025 at staggered local times.
What new Ed Sheeran Australian tour dates were added?
The added dates were in Perth, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. Frontier Touring said the additions followed strong demand. Its announcement listed these 2026 dates and venues:

Accor Stadium’s initial release listed Sydney performances on 13 and 14 February; the later promoter announcement added 15 February.
What was the Loop Tour?
The tour was framed around Sheeran’s loop pedal, which records musical phrases and replays them continuously. ABC News Australia reported that Sheeran described the show as having a “new stage, new tricks, new set, new songs, old songs.” He also said, “The pedal from when I started has expanded … it’s kind of like a loop pedal on steroids now,” and called Australia the first place outside the United Kingdom where he was accepted as a musician and loved. ABC reported that the tour would begin in Auckland in January 2026.

Where were official tickets sold?
At the time of the tour, Frontier Touring listed these Australian authorized ticketing agencies in its FAQ:

| City | Agency named by Frontier Touring |
|---|---|
| Perth | Ticketmaster |
| Sydney | Ticketek |

| Melbourne | Ticketmaster |
These are historical details, not a route to buy tickets for the completed shows. Frontier’s published ticketing policy said tickets were mobile-app-only, with no physical tickets posted or emailed in advance; barcodes activated shortly before each show. It also said reserved seats were allocated at purchase and displayed on the ticket and confirmation, while prices and categories depended on the show.
Frontier advised fans to buy only through each show’s authorized agency and said resale was permitted only through the relevant agency’s official resale platform, subject to applicable law. It warned unauthorized resale could result in ticket cancellation or refusal of entry. These are the promoter’s stated policies, not independent legal advice. What did the announcement say about demand?
Frontier Touring said more than 2.5 million tickets had been sold across Australia and New Zealand to date in 2025. The promoter did not provide a more precise measurement cutoff or methodology, and that figure was not a count of tickets sold for these four added shows. It also did not quantify demand for each added date separately.
