Pakistani outlets reported a sharp drop in Ducky Bhai’s YouTube subscribers in January 2025 after fellow creator Sham Idrees made allegations about his treatment of smaller creators. The often-cited figure of 290,000 is one media estimate—not a verified count. Other outlets reported substantially different totals, and the available articles do not establish an exact loss.
How many subscribers did Ducky Bhai reportedly lose?
Reports published in late January 2025 gave different figures for the decline. The estimates used different stated time windows, and the reviewed articles do not provide a primary YouTube analytics record that would settle the count.
| Outlet | Publication date | Reported loss and period | What the report provides |
|---|---|---|---|
| TechJuice | January 2025; the report describes figures through January 28 | About 290,000 over three weeks | It gives subscriber counts, but its sequence is internally inconsistent: it says the January 28 count was 8,270,000 while also saying it rose from 8,510,000 on January 27 to 8,430,000 by January 28. Those figures do not reconcile with one another or with the stated loss. |
| Aaj English | January 31, 2025 | Nearly 160,000 after Idrees’s Sunday video | The article reports the estimate but does not provide an auditable analytics record. |
| Dialogue Pakistan | January 30, 2025 | More than 300,000 in three days | The article reports the estimate but does not provide a primary analytics record. |
| The Current | January 2025 | About 290,000 over three weeks | The article describes audience reactions but does not provide an auditable analytics record. |
These numbers should not be combined or presented as a confirmed total. The reports may reflect different snapshots, time windows, or counting methods, but the articles do not establish which explains the discrepancy. The most accurate short answer is that 290,000 was a widely reported estimate, while the precise historical loss is unconfirmed.
What did Sham Idrees allege?
Contemporary coverage attributed allegations of bullying, threats, and targeting smaller creators to Idrees. Dialogue Pakistan also described claims of physical assault and testimonials from people who said they had been threatened. These are allegations as reported by the outlets, not findings established by the coverage.

Did Ducky Bhai respond publicly?
Dialogue Pakistan reported on January 30, 2025, that Ducky Bhai had not publicly addressed the allegations as of that date. This is a time-bounded account; it does not establish whether he responded later.

How should the later legal case be understood?
Geo News and Dawn reported that Ducky Bhai and others were indicted on February 9, 2026, in a separate case concerning the alleged promotion of online gambling or betting applications. Dawn reported that the accused pleaded not guilty, while Geo reported that they denied the allegations. That later case concerns different claims and does not prove or resolve Idrees’s allegations from 2025.
