How many units did Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR sell?
The album earned 246,000 equivalent album units in the United States in its first charting week, as reported by Billboard from Luminate data. “Units” are not synonymous with album sales: Billboard’s explanation says its total combines album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA).

Billboard described the 287.04 million on-demand official streams as the largest streaming week for an album in 2025 as of its February 26 report. The figures and that comparison are specific to the reporting date and first charting week.
How does Billboard calculate equivalent album units?
In its February 2025 explanation, Billboard said one unit represented one album sale, 10 individual track sales from an album, or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams generated by an album’s songs. These are the conversion values described in that report; they should not be assumed to represent any later methodology without checking Billboard’s current rules. Billboard counted the chart-topper as PARTYNEXTDOOR’s first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 and Drake’s 14th. At the time of the debut, Billboard said Drake’s total tied JAY-Z and Taylor Swift for the most No. 1 albums among soloists. These are milestone counts reported in February 2025, not a claim about later chart records.
