Fans speculated that “Zero Martial Arts,” a label mentioned in a surfaced 2024 discussion about a possible Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO DLC, might mean OG Dragon Ball content. That interpretation was never confirmed. The official Martial Arts Pack is an early-unlock bundle for Future Gohan, Super Saiyan Future Gohan, and Bardock, plus the Super Sparking! ability item.
What did fans think the “Zero Martial Arts” leak meant?
A search-result snippet for a 2024 Reddit thread titled “Sparking Zero New DLC datamined” says “Zero Martial Arts was found in the Steam DB.” One reply guessed: “Most likely OG Dragon Ball DLC or something Quality of Life.” That is evidence of one fan’s speculation—not confirmation of what the label meant or proof of a wider fan consensus.

The Reddit page and the alleged SteamDB record were not independently verified. It is therefore more accurate to say that fans speculated about OG Dragon Ball content than to call the label a confirmed leak of such content. The surfaced Reddit discussion is the basis for the reported fan reaction.
What is actually in the Martial Arts Pack?
Nintendo’s US product listing describes the Martial Arts Pack as early unlocks for Gohan (Future), Gohan (Future), Super Saiyan, and Bardock, along with the Super Sparking! ability item. In other words, the listing identifies an unlock bundle; it does not describe OG Dragon Ball characters or story content. Nintendo’s US listing gives the pack a February 20, 2026 release date and says it requires the base game.

Bandai Namco announced the pack’s availability on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on February 20, 2026, noting that it had already been available on other platforms. Bandai Namco’s announcement and Nintendo UK’s listing likewise identify it as DLC for DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO.
How does the Martial Arts Pack differ from Super Limit-Breaking NEO?
They are separate DLC products. The Martial Arts Pack is the smaller early-unlock bundle; Super Limit-Breaking NEO is a later, broader expansion. Bandai Namco announced NEO for July 30, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. Its announcement describes 33 new playable characters from Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Super, and Dragon Ball GT, along with battles, stages, and a new solo mode. The 33-character figure is the publisher’s count. Bandai Namco’s NEO announcement covers that expansion, not the Martial Arts Pack.

| Martial Arts Pack | Early unlocks for Future Gohan, Super Saiyan Future Gohan, and Bardock; Super Sparking! ability item | Available on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 from February 20, 2026; Bandai Namco said it was previously available on other platforms. |
| Super Limit-Breaking NEO | Publisher-described 33 new playable characters, Episode Battles, Extra Battles, four stages, and the Limit Breaker Journey solo mode | Announced for July 30, 2026, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 versions were scheduled for a later date in the official Dragon Ball site’s July 2026 update. |
The official Dragon Ball site describes Limit Breaker Journey as a single-player mode where players choose a character, fight, and customize stats and abilities. Its July 2026 update said Switch and Switch 2 versions were planned for later, so the NEO launch timing announced for other platforms should not be applied to Nintendo systems.
For NEO’s four named stages, PlayStation Blog lists Kami’s Palace, Kame House, Bitter Tundra, and Stratosphere (Earth and Planet Vegeta). It also describes Battle Arts as unlockable effects tied to character training. PlayStation Blog’s overview discusses NEO features, not the Martial Arts Pack.

Does the Martial Arts Pack confirm OG Dragon Ball DLC?
No. The fan guess came from an unverified interpretation of a label, while the official released pack listing specifies early unlocks for three named character forms or fighters and an ability item. Those contents do not substantiate the OG Dragon Ball theory. The evidence supports reporting that at least one fan floated the idea, not that the pack—or the label—confirmed it.
