If you want to watch Dragon Ball DAIMA in English, Crunchyroll is the clearest option: all 20 dubbed episodes are available there in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and India. The final two episodes, 19 and 20, arrived together on May 16, 2025, so the dub is now complete rather than several weeks behind the Japanese release.
Where to watch the English dub
Crunchyroll is the confirmed home of the complete English dub in the territories announced for the release. Its Dragon Ball DAIMA listing is marked “Sub | Dub,” includes English audio, and contains the anime’s 20 story episodes.
| Service | English dub status | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Crunchyroll | Confirmed complete dub in selected territories | Choose English under the player’s Audio menu |
| Hulu | The series is listed in the United States, but the public listing does not clearly identify its audio tracks | Start an episode and verify that English appears under Audio |
| Netflix | Varies by country and title licensing; some regions show Japanese audio with English subtitles only | Open Audio & Subtitles while an episode is playing |
How to turn on the English audio on Crunchyroll
- Open Dragon Ball DAIMA in Crunchyroll.
- Start the episode you want to watch.
- Select the gear icon in the video player.
- Open Audio.
- Choose English.
Crunchyroll remembers the last audio language selected for that series, but changing the track in the player is not the same as changing the account-wide default.
Set English as your default audio language
On the Crunchyroll website, go to Settings → Preferences → Audio Language, then select English. The audio-language setting is also supported in the Crunchyroll apps for iOS, Android, Fire TV, Nintendo Switch, Apple TV, Android TV, Chromecast, and Google TV.

Find the dub using Crunchyroll’s filters
On the website
- Log in to Crunchyroll.
- Select Categories.
- Choose Browse All (A-Z).
- Select Filter.
- Under Language, choose Dubbed.
In the mobile app
- Open the Crunchyroll app and sign in.
- Tap Browse.
- Tap the filter icon in the upper-right corner.
- Under Language, select Dubbed.
- Tap Update Filters.
If DAIMA does not appear in the dubbed results, check the series page directly and inspect the audio menu. Dubbed-title filters depend on regional licensing, so the results are not identical in every country.
Can you watch the dub on Hulu?
Hulu’s U.S. listing includes Dragon Ball DAIMA and names English-dub cast members including Sean Schemmel, Kent Williams, Christopher R. Sabat, Monica Rial, and Sonny Strait. However, the public Hulu page does not clearly state which audio tracks are available in the player.
Hulu currently displays 40 listed episodes, while the anime itself has 20 story episodes. The most likely explanation is that Hulu counts separate subtitle and dub versions as individual entries, but the listing does not explain the number directly.
If Hulu is your preferred service, play an episode and open its audio controls before assuming the English track is included. For a clearly confirmed complete dub, Crunchyroll is the safer choice.
Can you watch the dub on Netflix?
Netflix availability is country-specific. Its DAIMA page may provide Japanese original audio with English subtitles rather than English voices, depending on the region and licensing arrangement.
To check:
- Start playing an episode.
- Open Audio & Subtitles.
- Look under Audio for English.
If English is not listed, that Netflix region or version of the title does not offer the dub. Netflix says available languages can depend on location, profile language, device, title licensing, and sometimes the individual season or episode.
How many episodes are in the English dub?
Dragon Ball DAIMA has 20 story episodes, and all 20 have English audio on Crunchyroll in the announced territories. Episodes 19 and 20 were released together on May 16, 2025, completing the dub.
The occasional claim that the anime has 40 episodes comes from Hulu’s listing, which currently shows 40 entries. That number should not be read as 40 separate story episodes.

The announced Crunchyroll English-dub territories are:
- United States
- Canada
- Australia

- South Africa
- India
In other regions, Crunchyroll may carry the series with Japanese audio, subtitles, or a different dubbed language. Streaming rights can change, so the audio list shown on your local series page is the final check.
What happened to the theatrical release?
The English dub was not limited to theaters. The first three dubbed episodes had a U.S. theatrical premiere from November 10 to 12, 2024, but that was an early event rather than the only way to hear the dub. The complete English version subsequently became available for streaming on Crunchyroll.

Does Netflix have the Dragon Ball DAIMA English dub?
It depends on the country. Open an episode, select Audio & Subtitles, and check whether English appears under Audio. Some Netflix regions offer Japanese audio with English subtitles only.

The anime has 20 story episodes. Hulu’s 40-entry listing apparently counts subtitle and dub versions separately, although its public page does not clearly explain the numbering.
The Bottom Line
