Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 9 does not confirm a major defeat for Goku. Instead, his victory over Tamagami Number Three becomes widely known across the Demon World, putting the group in greater danger. The episode also brings Bulma, Vegeta, and Piccolo into the Demon Realm storyline and ends with the creation of Majin Kuu.
What happens to Goku in Episode 9?
Episode 9 follows the fallout from the previous episode, in which Goku and his companions defeated Tamagami Number Three and obtained the Third Demon World’s Dragon Ball. The official recap says word of that victory spreads through the Demon World, making Goku and the others a larger target. That is the danger the episode establishes: their success attracts attention.

Apple TV’s episode listing describes the same development as rumours about what Goku did in the Third Demon World spreading across the Demon Realm: Apple TV’s Episode 9 listing.
Does Goku actually suffer a big loss?
Not according to the official Episode 9 recap. It describes the group becoming more exposed after Goku’s victory; it does not call that development a major defeat or identify a specific loss for him. The phrase “big loss” belongs to CBR’s headline, not to the official account of the episode’s events.
#1 Best Overall
The available opening excerpt of CBR’s article discusses the preceding fight with Tamagami Number Three, but does not include the full explanation behind its headline. It is therefore not possible to establish from that excerpt what precise loss the headline suggests. The episode’s confirmed consequence is increased attention from across the Demon World.
Who joins the Demon Realm story?
Bulma, Vegeta, and Piccolo, who had remained on Earth, arrive in the Demon Realm with Hybis’s guidance. Their arrival expands the group involved in the journey just as the news of Goku’s victory is spreading.

Who is Majin Kuu?
In the First Demon World, Dr. Arinsu and Great Witch Marba’s research leads to the creation of Majin Kuu. He appears in the episode’s final scene and says only, “Understood.” The official Dragon Ball episode recap identifies Tomokazu Seki as Majin Kuu’s Japanese voice actor.
