Dr Disrespect’s September 5, 2024 teaser ended with the word “Tomorrow,” prompting India Today Gaming to interpret it as an announcement that he would return to streaming the next day. The video did not name a platform. That teaser came after allegations about his 2020 Twitch ban became public and after his game studio ended its relationship with him; a separate Rumble deal followed in November.
What did Dr Disrespect announce?
On September 5, 2024, Guy Beahm, who streams as Dr Disrespect, posted a 2.5-minute video on X. As described by India Today Gaming, it showed him arriving by speedboat at a mansion featuring a golden statue of himself, then ended with the word “Tomorrow.” The outlet read the teaser as a streaming comeback announcement for September 6.
That interpretation should not be mistaken for a platform announcement: the reported video did not identify where he would stream. In particular, it did not name Rumble. Rumble’s agreement with Beahm was announced later, in November 2024.
What allegations preceded the teaser?
In June 2024, reporting about the reason for Beahm’s 2020 Twitch ban surfaced. The Washington Post reported that Beahm acknowledged sending messages to a minor in 2017. He described the exchanges as “casual, mutual conversations that sometimes leaned too much in the direction of being inappropriate.” He also said, “Nothing illegal happened, no pictures were shared, no crimes were committed, I never even met the individual.” Those are Beahm’s account and denial, not a court finding.

In the same statement, as quoted by The Washington Post, he accepted moral responsibility: “I should have never entertained these conversations to begin with. That’s on me. That’s on me as an adult, a husband and a father.” This public acknowledgment should be distinguished from allegations reported by other outlets based on anonymous sources; it does not establish those allegations as proven criminal conduct.
Why did Midnight Society end its relationship with him?
Midnight Society, the game studio Beahm co-founded, said it initially assumed he was innocent, then spoke with parties involved before deciding to end its relationship with him. Its statement, reproduced by Game Informer, said: “For this reason, we are terminating our relationship with Guy Beahm immediately.” That establishes the studio’s decision and stated reasoning; it is not a criminal adjudication.

What happened after the September teaser?
Rumble announced a separate deal in November
On November 25, 2024, Rumble announced that Beahm would stream on its platform, make exclusive content for Rumble Premium subscribers, and advise and lead Rumble Gaming. The company said his first Rumble stream was planned for December 2, 2024. Rumble Chairman and CEO Chris Pavlovski said, “Dr Disrespect will give a much-needed injection into our gaming category.” These details come from Rumble’s announcement. They describe a later platform development, not the destination of the September teaser.
Later reporting does not establish his activity today
PC Gamer reported on February 25, 2026 that Beahm had streamed on YouTube and Rumble. The report also said Bungie’s Marathon developer account responded “He’s not partnered” after Beahm used a partnership hashtag. A post by Beahm should therefore not be treated as proof of an official game partnership. This dated report does not establish his exact platform activity or schedule on October 3, 2026.
