No. Loki season 2, episode 6, “Glorious Purpose,” has no mid-credits or post-credits scene. Its final sequence is the episode’s ending—not a separate tag after the credits. If “perfect post-credits scene” is meant figuratively, the phrase points to that closing sequence, which completes Loki’s story rather than teasing another project.
What happens at the end of Loki season 2?
Spoilers for “Glorious Purpose” follow.
Loki realizes the Temporal Loom cannot preserve every branching timeline. After revisiting conversations with his friends, he faces a choice: kill Sylvie or let the Loom destroy the branches. He chooses another way. Loki breaks the Loom, gathers the dying branches, and takes his place at the Citadel, holding the timelines together in a World Tree-like form.

An “AFTER” epilogue shows the changed TVA and the characters’ altered circumstances. The episode then returns to Loki seated among the branches. These moments are part of the finale itself; there is no additional scene after the credits. TVLine’s recap of the finale describes the epilogue and closing image.
Why the ending works without a credits tag
Marvel credits scenes often point toward another story. “Glorious Purpose” instead closes on Loki’s choice and its cost: he gives up an ordinary life to preserve the timelines and his friends’ freedom. Disney’s season 2 media kit frames the series around the TVA, the expanding multiverse, free will, and glorious purpose. The finale makes those ideas concrete through Loki’s decision.

Calling this a “perfect post-credits scene” can work as a personal, figurative description of the final image, but it is not literally accurate. The ending’s force comes from being the conclusion, not an extra tease.
What Kevin Wright said about the missing scene
Executive producer Kevin Wright told TVLine that the team did not write or shoot a post-credits scene. He said a tag “would have just taken away” from the finale, explaining that the creative aim was to close the story rather than set up a larger Marvel arc. The TVLine report was published November 13, 2023.
Contemporaneous guides from TechRadar and The Digital Fix also answer no. There is no competing tag to interpret: the finale’s epilogue and last image are its own resolution.
