Netflix’s official descriptions do not confirm that Stranger Things: Escape the Dark shows Eddie Munson’s corpse. They describe a ticketed rescue mission through earthquake-damaged Hawkins, but say nothing about Eddie or a corpse. That absence is not proof the scene is not in the attraction.
What the attraction is officially about
Stranger Things: Escape the Dark is an immersive attraction at Netflix House Dallas. Netflix’s Nov. 6, 2025 preview says a catastrophic earthquake has torn Hawkins apart and left three people missing; visitors take part in a rescue mission. Netflix’s Dec. 11 opening announcement describes the experience as a journey into the ruins of Hawkins to find three missing townspeople.
Netflix’s opening announcement sums up the premise: “Journey into the ruins of Hawkins to find three missing townspeople…before the horrors lurking within find you.”
Does Eddie appear?
The official attraction descriptions reviewed do not mention Eddie Munson, his body, or a scene depicting his corpse. They therefore do not substantiate the claim in the title. They also do not establish that Eddie is absent from the experience; confirming a specific reveal would require a direct attraction source or reliable firsthand reporting that explicitly describes it.
